As much as I’d like for Kid to have a whole other Yonko for himself, it just ain’t line up with the fact that Kid has had his eyes set on Kaido the entire time. Kid has more reason to be facing Kaido than anyone else in the arc bar Apoo.

True but on the other hand Kidd is even worse than Zoro when it comes to feats.

I generally don't like this whole Luffy/Kidd rivalry. It's forced af but it's Oda's fault. He didn't build Kidd well enough after the time skip.

Kidd should have at least Tobi Roppo warm-up before Kaido to see if he's capable of doing something.

He couldn't even KO Apoo with a full enraged attack.

Kidd has had his eyes on pretty much all the Yonkos besides Blackbeard, he attacked Shanks, Attacked And stole something from Big Mom, Destroyed many Big Mom ships, And formed an alliance to take down Shanks, refused to bow down to Kaido and Now wants is allied with Luffy and The Samurais to take down two Yonkos

Yep Kid's beef is with Kaido and despite what his better treatment compared to the other Supernovas who aren't of the Straw Hats it's clear that he will never really be Luffy's equal and that Luffy's only true rival for the Pirate King title is Blackbeard.

It doesn't really matter since it's very unlikely that he will defeat BM anyway and that his role in the war will most likely to help Luffy defeat or weaken Kaido who is the one he has a special beef against of the two Yonkos present at Wano like Law against Doflamingo.

It's obvious at this point that Big Mom will be defeated at Wano along with Kaido, this is the second time that Oda is saying that Big Mom will be defeated during the Wano arc through Luffy's own words.

I don't think she'll be beaten this arc tbh. She'll be held at bay by maybe Marco, Jinbe and some other combatans until the Beast Pirates are completely beaten and captured by the rest.

At the end of the arc I could see her having a stare down with Luffy and company after they beat Kaido and she'll acknoledge him as a real contender for the One Piece before she retreats with her crew to Tottland to prepare for the final showdown for the final Road Poneglyph in Elbaf or something. There is another scenario though where they somehow mange to broker a peace agreement between the two.

Bro, you have no proof that either Kaido or Shanks rekt Kidd.

Kidd spamming his attacks on drunken Kaido who doesn't give a fuck and then knocks out Kidd is not a fight.

Shanks probably didn't even fight Kidd himself.
