many people including Kaido fans expected the scabbards to damage him, there obviously a twist coming and all this damage won't mean much on the long run

beside the battle started and Oda is still building up sub plots for the future( BM have a plan, Black Maria song have a meaning, Orachi return ), hence Kaido Saga is still far from over

I don't think there's any defending in Kaido being damaged by fucking Raizio, but going as far as to claim he'll outright lose is dumb as shit. The only reason he's still in dragon form is so that Oda can have the Scabbards last a little longer.

As a major Kaido fan I admit all this is unexpected,i mean I was expecting a twist at some point that would let them to injure him but this is weird....I'm sure there will be an explanation but we all know eventually that Kaido will wake up and walk over them like nothing....

Scabbards injuring Kaido is not a total bullshit imo. It seems like Oden tried to teach scabbards Ryou in that five year period or the time frame between him coming back to Wano and meeting Orochi...

If Oden tried to teach the scabbards Ryou in the time frame between Oden's arrival and him meeting Orochi.... Scabbards had five years to improve on what Oden tried to teach them. And they deffo knew that something was off after the meeting between Oden and Orochi. So yeah it's definitely plausible that Scabbards learnt Ryou in that timeframe
