I honestly don't believe that is what is happening here. Yamato seems to only have Oden's inherited will, that's it. Its not like she knew about Momonosuke from memory. Luffy had to tell her to go protect him.

I wouldn't call this inherited will tho. More like unhealthy obsession. It's like parents who don't have time for their kids and they let them play games day and night and then wonder why they are addicted.

I'm waiting for Yamato to be at least able to defeat King or someone of similar strength. She is Kaidou daughter ! 🌴

I spouse this idea as well and I mentioned about it long long ago (I was barely considered for it). I think that the fact she is Kaido's daughter can count by itself, she might be more durable than a basic human for example.

Also it means because of a hierarchy matter... she was trained to become a powerhouse in all likelihood. I wish we could be introduced to more of the background story.
