No it was too much for Whitebeard
Whitebeard is not made up of diamond, he would have to use Haki on his bisento or else his bisento would be cut off alongside WB himself.

Lmaoo Admirals stop that shit just by using casual CoA attacks by putting their arms forward. Mihawk would probably stop that petty gura attack with his butter knife.

A simple Quake punch would have put and end to that slash with no problems. Oda needed to showcase the magnitude of Whitebeards abilities much greater, which is why he didn't use Mihawk as the basis for showcasing Whitebeard's power.

That canonically doesn't make sense.
Simply Quake attack was used to block nameless magma fist
Akainu had to use Daifunka to destroy an Ice block
Mihawk can casually cut Iceberg 10000 times bigger than that Iceblock

Whitebeard had to scream and use good deal of his power to replicate same feat.

Whitebeard decimated both those Icebergs into pieces from left to right, top to bottom with two simple quake punches, which is magnitudes greater than what Mihawk did, who only cut the top off of one.

Its not magnitudes greater.
From physics perspective it is far more impressive to concentrate a force to a point and cut the Iceberg than to shatter it because Ice is not that durable, although Aokiji's Ice would still be significantly more durabe than regular Ice.

But Mihawk was also able to lift that Iceberg at least 1 km into the air, and Iceberg shattered which already makes Mihawk's feat more impressive because slash was launched from middle of the Island and Mihawk doesn't have special fruit that gives him DF advantage over Ice. But then there is the fact that it wasn't even a flying slash from Mihawk, it was a CqC slash, just the shockwaves did that damage. On the point blank range, that attack should be 100s of times stronger than the shockwaves few KMs away.

So yeah Mihawk's casual feat > WB's angry feat.

Let that sink in

For me Mihawk slash agaisnt WB is better than Mihawk island slash.

And Mihawk can likely do much better
