If anything, I'd say it's even more plausible given what we know:
- characters grow stronger through repeatedly challenging stronger opponents
- Zoro has not had a properly challenging fight since the timeskip
- Zoro has to master a new sword and is going to upgrade it into a black blade
- Zoro is going to surpass Oden this arc
- Zoro is already capable of fighting admirals for a limited duration
Luffy couldn't defeat Cracker without Nami's help, yet defeated Katakuri within the same arc. So why would it be impossible for Zoro to make such a big jump in power? He'll get stronger by being given multiple power-ups, and that's very evident since he already got one big upgrade without even having to fight for it. There's obviously still a huge gap between Zoro and Oden, and this arc will give him a lot of time to close it

Enma is not going to give him different attacks or techniques.
Its not a power up until its permanatly black and then will pass sushuis level.

Just because he is getting used to Enma it doesnt mean he isnt capable of Asura and upgrades he may have received during TS training.
