If anything, I'd say it's even more plausible given what we know:

• characters grow stronger through repeatedly challenging stronger opponents
• Zoro has not had a properly challenging fight since the timeskip
• Zoro has to master a new sword and is going to upgrade it into a black blade
• Zoro is going to surpass Oden this arc
• Zoro is already capable of fighting admirals for a limited duration

Now, if Zoro left Kuraigana island as < Luffy, there should be no way for his COA to jump from YC3/4 to YC1+ in a single arc. Turning a blade black is one of the best COA feats in the entire verse, and Oden has received near-godly amounts of hype. Kaido's large scar was not given to him by Linlin, Whitebeard, or even Roger, but Oden! How could Zoro surpass a guy like that if he came out of the timeskip as YC3 or below? Makes no sense to me.

If Luffy only fought the same opponents Zoro has fought so far he wouldn't have had a single challenging fight either, whereas Zoro hasn't done anything that suggests he would stand a chance against the opponents Luffy went up against.

Luffy couldn't defeat Cracker without Nami's help, yet defeated Katakuri within the same arc. So why would it be impossible for Zoro to make such a big jump in power? He'll get stronger by being given multiple power-ups, and that's very evident since he already got one big upgrade without even having to fight for it. There's obviously still a huge gap between Zoro and Oden, and this arc will give him a lot of time to close it

Enma is not going to give him different attacks or techniques.
Its not a power up until its permanatly black and then will pass sushuis level.

His training with Enma is a literal power up

Just because he is getting used to Enma it doesnt mean he isnt capable of Asura and upgrades he may have received during TS training.

Point is, we didn't see them pre-Enma, so we don't know how strong they would have been

You do understand that KKG was Luffy's strongest attack, right?

Meanwhile for Zoro, there's still Ashura which was Zoro's strongest attacks pre TS, which would have been upgraded during the TS. With there's a possibility that he might have even stronger attack than that which he learnt during TS akin to G4 and HM.

So, basically, you're comparing an all out Luffy against a non all out Zoro / base Zoro. With base Zoro was already having G4 level attacks and without the time limit and the Haki drawback, not saying that Zoro could then spam it tho.

So to summarize your post above, G4 Luffy >= Base Zoro

We can't make that conclusion by comparing attacks guys come on...

This is exactly my point. Putting aside that Cracker was a terrible matchup for Luffy, who struggles against defensive/tricky fighters, the entire reason that Luffy was able to get stronger was through actual combat. Luffy is the only member of the Straw Hats who has had that kind of extreme combat training. According to Rayleigh, that’s how you get stronger in the New World. Zoro hasn’t had that chance, and I struggle to see how Zoro would replicate Luffy’s training strategy of getting trashed by Katakuri, retreating with Brulee to eat and rest and then resuming the fight to obtain a higher level of haki. Without the opportunity to undergo such brutal training, we can only assume that Zoro started from a higher base, otherwise how is he to surpass Oden?

Even if Enma itself is a powerup, it doesn’t assist Zoro with improving his CoO, his agility or his other base combat stats. That’s not to mention that Zoro will not only conquer Oden’s blade, but upgrade it. In doing so, he will join the ranks of only two known black blade wielders in the entire series.

I’m hoping that Momo and Hiyori defeat Orochi tbh. Would be nice to see Zoro’s disciple avenging their father and reclaiming the shogunate. With Hiyori saying that she wants to kill Orochi with her own hands and Momo saving Oden’s blade for a later date, I think we might actually get to see a proper sibling team up in Wano.

Kyoshiro is definitely strong and it will be interesting if he fights Zoro but I’m not sold on him being a serious antagonist just yet. With King’s race being hyped by Big Mom, it should be an amazing fight (assuming it doesn’t get off panelled lol )
