Lol at those raging twitter users acting like they know more than Stephen, they probably think they know Japanese just because they watched some anime or hentai.
So nothing changes with the official translation. Zoro never called Kaido the WSM, just his rumored title. Zoro plans on beating Kaido. People can say what they want but if somebody said they're going to cut you into pieces we all know how that should be interpreted.
This. He literally says cut to pieces but whether you think he's explicitly talking about murder or just using it as a hyperbolic expression... whatever
This is not literal. It's like Luffy saying he's going to kick somebody's ass, it doesn't mean he'll literally do it. It's a metaphor, Zoro has told Sanji this dozens of times.
The fact that people think that an SH will literally declare that they are going to kill someone is quite problematic
Never understood the outrage at the thought of Zoro killing someone already beaten to near death.....that's like complaining about Sanji killing Katakuri after Luffy knocked him out.
Glad to see people aren't falling for it here, nobody has any issues with the translations. These complaints are coming from very vocal minority just ignore them:cheers:
