Aside from the fact that this whole WB-Oden situation is still cringeworthy af, it was a very good chapter.
I didn't think Oda could make chapter 1000 live up to the hype, after it became clear that we wouldn't go back to the Reverie (Imu reveal, what happened to Sabo, Alabasta, the Shichibukai etc.).
However, now things are in place to make it work: There are strong vibes about the "Will of D" finally getting revealed, a Rocks/God Valley flashback is still in the cards and a confrontation between a (finally serious) BM, Kaido and Luffy would actually look great in that setting.
I think Oda will also show us some dead (fingers crossed) or at least severely injured and defeated scabbards, since he has deliberately not shown them this chapter and they have to be there on the rooftop.
