you know, maybe it is because I am getting older or some shite. But I enjoy the road. Of course, finished things are great. Conclusions are clear and everybody knows all the answers.
But I do not want that in a manga series or a good book. If I want that, I watch an 1,5 hour movie or read a...
Oh no, the story we all enjoy will maybe go on a little longer. What misfortune.
And all those ppl who say they got bored or whatever should really grow up and question their ability to perceive a story or art.
Oda and his team are masters at pacing. If he didn't design the chapters the way...
KIZ ist die Macht
could be - I suspect this to be a "Quest giver arc" so VP maybe even dies (part of him) and Lucci and his crew get bonked into oblivion, leaving the SHs with the new task to sail to Elbaf and get clapped/trained by Shanks
You know, I really feel that this chapter (aside from being the opening for an absolute lore bomb) shows why I like Oda +crew so much artistically. The whole story revolves around being free, accepting other people and their quirks while fighting opressors and racists. VP standing next to Dragon...
Vegapunk is obviously designed to look like a cartoon version of Albert Einstein. (Tounge, Hair, Forhead, genious, contributing science to warfare)
The apple cap is most likely a reference to Newton as his axioms laid the foundation for modern physics.
So of course Oda made the main VP look...
Robin's jacket gives me Cyberpunk or Fire Force vibes :-D Oda suggests women only should wear clothing on the torso xD
My most important question about Kuzan is not about his true intentions, we will get those really late down the line since his justice is "slow".
My question is: where is he...
I say Vegapunk might be ingenious but I bet my ass she is siphoning from some ancient source of technological advancement. That too would be the opportunity for Franky to develop his systems even if Vegapunk herself won't cooperate with the SH if they could get their hand on that source.
ok but think back to Skypia. Taking the missing eye of the skull shaped island into account you'd have a city of the sun and a city of the moon. I'm sure Skypia is really important in the long run. Would Oda really dismiss the opportunity for the moon-god-character-surprise?
But back to the Moon God - Do you guys really think that Zoro is that much more related to the moon than the rest of Wanos' inhabitants? Momo and Hyori are much closer to that symbolism imo. I kind of see him more like pacting half his soul away to hell to access the strongest swordsman powers...
I think Enels position depends entirely on what exactly he learned on the moon and to what conclusions that drives him. I could very well imagine him completely rethinking his role as 'a' god and returning to Skypia first - scaring the living shit out of everyone only to have turned into some...
Not to drag it out too much, but imagine how devastating Enels' powers would be to most other characters except Luffy - not to mention if he gains access to haoushoku haki.
Just like you I think Oda will twist our imagination quite unexpectedly and I love OP for this.
I wanted to mention that...
If I had a coin for every "obvious" inside this thread, I would become rich real fast ;-)
I thought about Imu aswell, especially since this Kaguya reference was all over the place.
In my opinion Imu is more likely to be this symbolic counterpart-villain than BB. Teach, for me, always seemed to...
I see the whole Luffy=light, joy and Zoro=dark, serious thing. Even though I doubt he has another role than "King of Hell".
I especially mentioned Enel because I seriously consider him a) coming back and b) really being the complete opposite charakter type from Luffy.
That is supported by...
