Can confidently say I’m never picking up this garbage again

This cannot be the same author that wrote the masterpiece that is P1

This is just horrible slop which is going to get spun into “complexity” by Fujimoto angels when it’s just repetitive writing and that pervert loser drawing out his fetishes

Fujimoto defenders are honestly much worse than even Oda angels. At least Oda has a sense of where the plot is going and can still coherently string a chain of events in a story. Fujimoto fails on all aspects as a writer and artist.

I used to glaze this series and defend him so much 5-6 years ago now I am its biggest hater. The quality of P2 has made even JJK far superior.

But anyone defending this can continue enjoying the slop of Denji just being a horndog with nothing but character regression. Asaden fans are the only ones that haven’t dropped this garbage yet and even they’re losing hope lmfao

IDK, maybe it's because I didn't really bond with Asa and she's kinda the deuteragonist, for me the quality is meh
I mean, I loved Fami and Lil D reveal
But other than that? Trash

She's like unhinged manic pixie girl for Denji to finally get laid with
So since I personally don't like neither Asa nor Yoru (and Yoru even less than Asa), part 2 is a huge downgrade for me
Even Denji himself feels kinda regressed as a character

On this note, I'd actually prefer for Denji to get laid in early-mid chapters and then he'd still want to get laid more but at least he'd have that

I see why you think that, but I don't really think that's true. She's more of a direct parallel/contrast to Makima than she is meant to be a manic pixie dream girl or whatever else. This is spelled out for us even in the latest chapter.
Reze is a totally, totally different character from Yoru, outside of both being attractive women who can shoot explosives from their fingers (you could also argue both are Hybrids, I suppose, but Yoru-Asa might count more as a special Fiend than a Hybrid).
Denji's main problem is really just controlling his lust. I don't think he'd let things like Makima manipulating him ever happen again.

CSM rn is objectively much worse than current OP. If the fall off is bigger, it's because OP peaked higher not because it's currently lower than current CSM.

I just don't like the execution, I don't care about 90% of the cast the way I did in Part 1.
Really, Fami & Lil D were the best part of Part 2 for me. And we don't get enough of them.

Just wondering, not planning to convert you into a hater. I'm happy for you if you enjoy Part 2, but to each their own and I personally don't, but I am still reading it to see it to the end (which is hopefully near).

I imagine we'll see more of them sooner or later since Fujimoto doesn't seem like the type of guy to just leave two Horsewomen (with one being the strongest devil in history) unaccounted for.
It's just that right now we're meant to focus on Yoru, so she's obviously going to get the spotlight.
