I see why you think that, but I don't really think that's true. She's more of a direct parallel/contrast to Makima than she is meant to be a manic pixie dream girl or whatever else. This is spelled out for us even in the latest chapter.
Reze is a totally, totally different character from Yoru, outside of both being attractive women who can shoot explosives from their fingers (you could also argue both are Hybrids, I suppose, but Yoru-Asa might count more as a special Fiend than a Hybrid).
Denji's main problem is really just controlling his lust. I don't think he'd let things like Makima manipulating him ever happen again.

CSM rn is objectively much worse than current OP. If the fall off is bigger, it's because OP peaked higher not because it's currently lower than current CSM.
@Monster Zoro's Tesla Supplier , what makes you excited in Part 2?
Just wondering, not planning to convert you into a hater. I'm happy for you if you enjoy Part 2, but to each their own and I personally don't, but I am still reading it to see it to the end (which is hopefully near).

That's ironic b/c I didn't even see the movie 
I wasn't reading Part 1 chapter by chapter. I binged it in less than a week, and I liked the raw intensity of it.
Then the Part 2 came along, and while I do understand the weekly read adds to the fatigue, I wasn't really into it from the very beginning. It had its moments, but overall the charm was lost.
And it's not like the weekly reading is an issue. I read Dandadan, I've started reading WITCHRIV recently and I am fine with the weekly schedule.
I was never very active on the CSM forum tho.

I like how it's sort of a reversed/flipped version of part 1 in some ways. And how Fujimoto expands on the relationships between humans and devils and lets us see what makes devils tick. If that makes sense.
I also really love Asa's character. She's fairly similar to Denji in a lot of ways, but she's different enough that she's not just a clone of him.
Really the only problems I have with part 2 is that it can get bold with some of it's ideas and it may not always follow through with said ideas., and sometimes it feels like Fujimoto's either not sure what to do with a character or just can't make room for them.
Even when Pochita and the Horsewomen met in Hell it didn't last long since he just ate Death fairly quickly and also took out Fami pretty quickly (at least, I think Fami was there, right?). This isn't a powerscaling thing since obviously Death and Fami weren't able to fight back for different reasons, but, it just sucks that they got written out of the story so quickly.

Oh yeah, Hell is kind of a missed opportunity to me. I expected quite a few chapters of development there. So much foreshadowing since Part 1, lol.
I'm glad you enjoy Asa! She definitely isn't my fav character but she's not the worst. At least I remember her unlike all those half characters who simply went poof in my head the moment I finished a chapter.

I like CSM part 2, part 1 was better, It was way more premeditated, I think that Fujimoto editor should have given him way more time between both parts and make him do some more oneshots if he was afraid of his decline in popularity. It feels like the ending was defined but not the structure of the whole part like part 1 was
