Future Events Does Luffy vs. Akainu have to happen narratively?

Also anyone thinking Sakazuki is gonna get the Blueno treatment is smoking grass lmfao.
Sakazuki is based on Bunta Sugawara, a famous Japanese actor, and his yakuza style tattoo is further proof of that. Sugawara is famous for his yakuza movies.
They also share the same birthday.
Even Sakazuki's name, actual name Sakazuki, is from 3 movies of Bunta Sugawara with Sakazuki in them.

Just take a look at how wanked and respected characters that are Japanese and/or represent Japan are, like Oden for instance. Now imagine the guy that is a famous Japanese actor, idolized by many, and appearing in many of Japan's national treasures when it comes to cinematography.
And of course Oda literally saying he will draw Sakazuki with a lot of respect.

Hes the strongest atm from the Marines. Like it doesnt make any sense for it to be anyone else. It'll be pirate king vs fleet admiral. They are destined to fight especially after him taking Ace's life and giving him that scar. Theres no way in heck Akainu is just gonna let him slide either. He doesnt care what good the SH's do. They are pirates and thats it.
This question infuriates me more then anything in One Piece. More than delusional Sanji fans thinking Sanji > Luffy.

Oda already introduced the 2 key plot elements that shut this down. First he brought back sabo, then he introduced Imu.

- How is that an argument for Sabo beating Akainu?
- Doesn't translate to him taking down Akainu in any way.
- Oda confirmed that the Mera Mera is an entire level below the Magu Magu. Sabo could never defeat Akainu because his ability overpowers Akainu's which means Ace's source of strength cannot beat Akainu.
