I personally don't like the reasons why some players are pushing for TAC.
Not because he is a new player to Mafia since this is about the basics of the game, however looking for the SK has high logic here.
You know the SK cannot be killed at night and the only way to get rid of him is by lynch. Blistering searching for it is the most logical stuff to do in this set-up.
So FoS on Gambit and Celestia so far.
Out of fairness, it has to be said however that the reason TAC wanted to veer for the SK is different. He wants to reduce the raw number of anti-town kills at night, which itself still holds logic, in that Town must get rid of anti-town and not just Mafia.

I 100% agree with what you said but what threw me off regarding TAC slightly is not his SK remark but him asking for 'any suspects'?
Now, he was first one to make post in this game so he should be knowing very well that there won't be any suspect so soon but he still asked. This is kind of weird.

You can't force the search for the SK D1.
Why? It's where you can use the best tinfoils, the best theories. LyLo/MyLo is the best in vanilla games. So just make sure you survive and don't complain.
Also ya all complain about inactivity, ya all gotta learn alot I see. If the activity is low try to figure out why someone should be town.
We call it "townclearing" people. You simply point out who is town and who is less towny.

The serial will try to blend into town fighting the mafia while he will try to kill townies. That's the typical SK playstyle.
SK can result in being an inconsistent towny.

SK will often not defend a mafia from being lynched. So the SK doesn't care where his vote goes, aslong he sells town that it is a town vote. So SK will be mostly townread early, except he really slips.
That's how you find the SK.
Mafia ofc is feared for SK so mafia are always the ones that try to kill the SK and then they move to blend in into town.
That's why Kiwi and Finalbeta are honest players in this DP. And that's my first townreads.

If Reborn is mafia I start to cry IRL. He is not towny, but he gives me off the vibes of being helpless. Mafia should not be helpless because they are two people. So such a helpless question should be asked in the mafia chat. Or Reborn just pretty much acts as helpless and uninformed as possible to blend in.

i am totally new to mafia. This is my second game (first one being king slayer game). I tried to read it online and understand it but it's hard as I have no prior practice or guidance so that's why I was asking question.

So there is a slight chance that between 4 players there is scum. So you need atleast 4 actives to determine reads at best.

In my experiences in ToS, the SK is almost always the role we want to get rid of first. Mafia is troublesome, but even if we get rid of 1, there's another who can immediately start killing and dwindling numbers. The SK, working alongside that, is going to shave off our ability to accurately respond at a breakneck pace. While true it is impossible to get a true read on people day 1, I am trying to set our agenda.
The SK is the easier target to fully put out of the game, and doing so will slow down the rate of death substantially. That is what we want. The more players die = the less knowledge and ability to react we have. That is a fact. Let me reiterate - Aiming for Mafia is tricky because they have 2 players who can still kill us even when we get one. In tandem with SK, this is disastrous for us townies.
I implore all townies to UNVOTE ME for the sake of my strategy. I'll lead us to victory, but I can only do that if honest, intelligent townies support me and help put pressure on those who continue to try to lynch me. We're in this together and indecision, even from the start of the game, gives the initiative to the baddies. We want to keep the initiative.

How many mafia games did you play? 1-2 votes are nothing. If we find a true suspect we will put our votes on it.
