Character Discussion I genuinely don't understand why do people hate Akainu so much

Try it yourself, join the military and stand in front of your superior in the middle of the battle and DEMAND that he would stop fighting and retreat, then watch his reaction

In the military you either obey or you die. It's not a privilege of low-ranking soldiers to say when or when not the battle should start or end. And if any military let shit like that happen, it would crumble on itself
In most militaries that would just result in an arrest and a dishonourable discharge, not being shot dead on the spot.

He's literally shit talking them and all that they're saying is : "please stop humiliating us O' great Sakazuki"
:suresure:
Stop reading Akainu piece
They say your reputation means shit to us , you are just a face of govt , don't speak arrogantly to us you dog
Once you stop reading Akainu piece and start reading one piece you may start liking it instead of ranting over every damn thing like a little bitch and making dumb threads and crying why people hate the character I like

In normal circumstances, sure. But not in the middle of a heated battle where it's literally impossible to arrest anyone as every soldier is either fighting or dropping dead
Even in those circumstances the chances of a superior just deciding to murder one of his men and get away with it are next to zero in a democratic country.

Maybe, if he wouldnt have tried to kill one of his own people for having another opinion, he wouldnt be seen like that. But trying to kill Coby and needed to get stopped by Shanks makes his character worth to hate.
Is it just difference of opinion though?

True. You can't have emotional awakening in middle of war. That's not how things work.

Plus it was not simple insubordination, Coby actions allowed the Pirates to escape after they had declared war by attacking the Marine HQs.

This guy shits on Kaido just because he cried once or twice or other dumb reason s and now he's crying like a little bitch cuz everyone don't worship his favourite character like a god
:rolaugh:

Kaido : Basically has no personality aside from crying,
Kaido on the other hand is just a boring, stupid, giant meatbag. All he does is drink and cry, no personality or charisma other than getting jerked off by all the characters for being "so strong". He's just a really tough practice tool for Luffy to get stronger, nothing more. But as a character he might as well not exist and nothing of value would be lost

to me Kaido is much worse because he's boring as hell and every scene he appears in is just embarrassing to watch

He guy hates Kaido just because he cried once but don't want people to hate Akainu even though killed innocent civilians , his own men and is a servant of celestial Dragons

Dude, if you seriously think that any bullshit political ideology is worth a shit in the middle of a war filled with blood and death, then you obviously have no idea how real life works
The US military executed a grand total of one soldier for cowardice in the entirety of WWII. And that had a trial, not an on the spot execution.

You are living in some weird fetished fantasy military land if you think that soldiers are regularly being executed by their commanders without trial in modern, democratic militaries.

It never happened because soldiers usually never stand in front of their commanders in the middle of the war with open arms and order them to stop fighting
