Law survived a CoC coated Thunder Bagua from Hybrid Kaido with barely any injuries.
Hell, Ashura did more damage to Kaido than Thunder Bagua did to Law.

Zoro permanently scarred Kaido, made him scream out loud after enduring attack for a panel, trying not to scream. And then we had the same Kaido huffing for the first time since Oden's attack.
So far, on roof-top, no one has done as much damage to Kaido as Zoro and that's fairly a fact. Luffy will probably do more as battle progresses. CoC coating is great but it doesn't make your attack > other attacks by default.

Saying Zoro's attack sucks because it didn't make Kaido fall down is same as saying Luffy is trash because he can't scar Kaido. Different attack moves, m8.

Hiryu Kaen during good condition > Hiryu Kaen after taking Hakai.
Asura during good condition > Asura after taking Hakai.
Since Haki is the biggest multiplication of attack's strength, it is completely logical to assume that the attack which made the Yonkos shit themselves, during good condition, with by far the most Haki poured into it, is stronger than the attack during the bad condition with almost all Haki used up vs Hakai. Besides, Asura is a move which focuses on overwhelming combat style, Hiryu Kaen is nothing of the sort.
