Reborn

Throughout Heaven & Earth,I alone am d Honored One
Even Reborn goes in the same direction than my arguments, while we were disagreeing with each other weeks ago.

This is comforting in a sense.

It's really amazing how people would rather see random characters face an admiral than Zoro, the 2nd strongest Straw Hat and the one who always follows his captain.

Even if you are an admiral fan and I don't entirely agree with your arguments and view of the story that seems to be biased by your love of the admirals, you still make sense compared to many other people. You still understand much more about this series and don't deny obvious things like other people do.

I agree with you that Egghead is not a mere escape arc. The Straw Hats barricaded themselves in Egghead, they could have escaped ages ago if their purpose was only to escape the arc. Why go to Egghead in the first place and stay there if this is an escape arc?

We also know the outcome of the Straw Hats barricading themselves in Egghead: an outcome that will shock the entire world. Escaping an island where the Straw Hats got themselves in is not it.

Both Saturn and Kizaru will take an L. Now, the specifics of it, we already gave our opinions on it and that's where we disagree but regardless, we know where this is heading towards.
I still disagree with Saturn losing here.

50/50 on it.

In chapter 1094 Kizaru said to Luffy that he had a job to do and that he can't fight with Luffy. To which Luffy said the following: "That's the idea! I'm doing my job!" And in this case, Oda even highlighted the word "my" by typing it bold. What he wants to say with this is, that Luffy thinks it his job to keep Kizaru away from his friends.

This is why:
- He attacked Kizaru, when he wanted to finish off Usopp
- He interferred when Kizaru tried to kill Bonney and Kuma together
- He prevented Kizaru from further hurting Vegapunk, Sanji, Franky and Atlas, as they fell down with the Vegatank.

Luffy however didn't interfere, when Saturn;
- stabbed Vegapunk.
- Tried to kill Bonney

Because taking care of Saturn is not his job.

By the way, Luffy having a job requires someone giving him this job - aka a client or an authority, Luffy obeys to. (For sure the new chief-of-staff of the SHPs 😉 )

Kizaru betraying his duty at the end is still 50/50 after he realised Nika would always be on his way.......
Saturn is 100% colliding with G5 and it would be a squashed matched at most.....
Either way He and Kizaru are locked with Luffy

Tell me the criteria that Saturn does not have as the main opponent
Does Luffy expressed desire to fight Saturn?
Does Luffy even know who are the Five Elders?
Does Luffy plan achieve anything by defeating Saturn?
Is there a setup for their supposed match-up?

Sir Crocodile - Luffy wanted to fight a Warlord + setup from Whisky Peak

Enel - Luffy wanted to meet the mystrious 'God' + he kidnapped his crew + he threatened the Skypiean

Rob Lucci - setup from Water 7; betrayal of Galley-La + personal humiliation

Moria - was looking for his crew + Moria stole his shadow

Magllan - the Wardan of Impel Down + Luffy was warned about him before their fight

Doflamingo - met in Marineford + setup from Punk Hazard

I can continue, nothing apply to Saturn who's stranger in Luffy's eyes.

Oh it can't happen right...
The main villain is Saturn and Kizaru is just his slave who follows his order that's the format.
Several panel already shosw Kizaru showing some emotions.
The last chapter Kizaru has no wills anymore, 0 motivation even while he's still doing the orders.
We'll see how long the poor man can endure.

Like all these enemies, Saturn has harassed a friend of Luffy, and Luffy is going to save his friend:luuh:
