General & Others Oda's biggest mistake

Quite tired of it ....next saga we migth discover that Ace was friend of someone living in Laughtale or Elbaf

For an event that crucial to the narrative, it´s really not too much, definitely not nonstop.

Tbh the man needs to stop introducing new groups and plot points and focus on the ones he has already. Like off the bat:
- Shanks and his crew
- Blackbeard and his crew
- Akainu and the Marines
- Im, the Gorosei and the WG
- Dragon and the Revolutionaries
- The Underworld
- The remaining Shichibukai
- Former Level 6 prisoners
- The Supernova
- The SHF
- Elbaf
- Laugh Tale
- Final War
-1000 different mysteries
Is what is has been around for a while still unaddressed. In the last 100 chapters alone, Oda now introduced/teased:
- The SSG (a subgroup of Vegapunk)
- Rocks
- Lodestar
- God Valley
as additional concepts on top of this. My fear is that he won't properly address everything. At least if we are dead it won't matter lol.

This is definitely part of my fear. Hopefully the "final stretch" is more the "final leg" of the journey that can encompass everything thats needed to be covered, and not just a final arc. There should be multiple arcs left, especially since Elbaf, Lodestar and Laugh Tale are geographically all not in the same place anyway (assuming they go to the first 2 islands at least). Then there's just the pure fact that we actually don't know what is truly left. There could be more islands and we just don't know yet.

When you read one piece, you spend your whole time getting excited about possible fights/scenario that never really happen so you end up never being satisfied, but thats not rly his fault

Almost basically this.
The stupidest decision he made was limiting where the Main Cast can go and see and explore. That and he doesn't even capitalize on Boat/ship battles. It's a GD Mother Fucking Pirate Manga, where's the looting etc... even from other pirates damn it! lol The series is so watered down.

I don’t think it’s even negotiable at this point that all the stuff you outlined here and earlier in your post need to happen/be resolved before it all comes to a close. That doesn’t mean a final arc, I think they’ve been saying it’s the last saga which should still include answers to all our questions. Should take at least 5-7 years as stated, but with the accelerating pace in Wano, it’s not impossible that it can be wrapped up within that timeframe.
