Katakuri is hyped as invinicble by his whole crew, I don't see the beast pirates doing that for the calamaties, they view Kaido as the invincible one.

Exactly one of my problems with post-ts One Piece. Straw Hats doing everything for Luffy while he seems to care more about samurai and a dead samurai. While I don't like everything Oda does with Sanji, him thinking about his own feelingsa is nice.

Luffy had some great moments post ts, Zou was a good arc in that regard, where Luffy said to Robin he will do everything to protect her, And even said to Nami that Isn't my Navigator great, In Wano he complemented Franky, there are small moments, Sanji got an whole arc for him. But Oda needs to add more moments with Luffy and the crew, But idk whats Oda's problem with not depicting the relationship between Luffy and Zoro properly in recent arcs, its always Luffy doing his own thing, I just want an heart to heart between them, since they are the first two, And this was supposed to be Zoro's arc.

People seem to forget that katakuri outpaced G2 luffy, and kept up with snakeman.

Putting fight aside, Oda made Luffy too cocky and overconfident, When Zoro and Law were protecting Luffy, he was doing his own thing, didn't even bother checking on Zoro. Not to forget lack of character moments in the raid, its all just get defeated -> gets up->fights and get cocky-> gets defeated.
Even WCI was better in that regard, with whole Luffy Sanji conversation.
But Oda said fuck Luffy, lets give spotlight to Zoro and Sanji.
Oda doesn't care about Luffy's relationship with Nami and Zoro, its always one sided, Luffy doing his own thing while Zoro/Nami just doing everything for Luffy.

I don't know but did any SH bother about Luffy when he got defeated by Kaido and was sent to Udon?.....Luffy trusts his crew and his crew trust Luffy....simple....I have your back and you have mine .....is straw hats ideology....

Not saying there aren't some good moments, but they feel too rare imo.
