Zori never stoppee creeling, he continued creeping until he unlocked king of hell mode. Zoro also continued to fight after breaking all the none sin his body. That isa higher level of insanity than luffy.

Zoro didn't receive a power creep, he was already meant to be that strong. He would not even unleash Asura during that fight. The Enma training forged a huge man capable to come up with a new style just like Udon managed to have Luffy unleash ACoC.

Didn’t think this chapter could get better, but it did. We get Luffy’s awakening (LOL all the ZKK fanboys), the Joy Boy reveal, and on top of that, Nami gets another character moment to go along with the one against Ulti. I love that whenever there’s the opportunity to, Oda always uses Zoro and Nami to emphasize Luffy. Zoro had his speech against Kaido, and now Nami does, too. It’s always those two because they’re the two closest in the crew to Luffy, his left and right hands, the next two in line. The original trio hits different and Oda knows it, and fully utilizes it.

And despite this King never landed a direct attack so losing is a reach.

All that is fine. From chapter 1 it says Luffy's journey of Destiny begins. Being related to big players (Garp, Dragon) and families (D) in the opverse is fine, but being a reincarnation of someone else sours the entire thing.

The series is built on that idea and inherited will.

- Luffy is the reincarnation of Joyboy and Roger
- Zoro is likely the reincarnation of Ryuuma
- Blackbeard is likely the reincarnation of Rocks

By "reincarnation", it's not literally those people, just their inherited Will's. Luffy technically also inherited Ace's will. So did Sabo.
