So I understand that Israel is an important geopolitical ally for america and the west, but I don't understand why the american government doesn't put at least some limitations on its support to israel to curb some of israel's worst offenses.

their course of existence is built upon prejudice... again they are no different than Isis trying to form a state... if you supporting Isreal's existence then atleast be consistent with that take.. and support Isis... not that I'm promoting you to.. I'm just calling a flaw out from your opinion
But the sole thing that would settle thos issue without further massacres is a 2 state solution... the most peaceful way to end things.. but the records of the UN says otherwise and this issue stands as one of the oldest next to Jummu and Kashmir, someone once said something along the lines "to American politics and UN org.. isreal is above the law"

The thing is tho, israel is the only jewish state in existence and there are countless islamic republics. Muslims don't need a country of their own.
This isn't to say that Israel should discriminate against muslims who already live in the region, but if the millions of jews in the region want to form their own government, I think they should have the right to do that.

Not every distinct community would necessarily have a country just coz they want it.. it would literally cause major conflicts in the world.. unless the place is homed to a majority .. before this disaster Palestine was home to Jews, Christians, and Muslim.. and had a mutual livelihood.. but now... bruh it can't get any dire

Not going to lie, I think the issues with J&K are the fault of the kashmiris. If any of them hate india, they should just go to pakistan. Pakistan was created for the very purpose of allowing people living in british india to choose to live in an islamic republic.
If indian kashmir is so bad then just cross over to pakistani kashmir, millions of people did it during partition, there's no reason for them to continue to live in indian land and commit acts of terrorism and advocate for secession. That's basically the entire reason Kashmir is militarized.
