Speculations Pound is still dead

#41
Not really

Only Nami actually stays under the umbrella... in bikini... and chilling under sunlight... LOL... so I bet it's number 1

I'm praying with ALL MY MIGHT... that number 12 is Kiku... because of eye similarity... but who knows... maybe someone different...

If I get my number 1 crush "Kiku" on this crew

:funky:
I'll be praying to Goda night and day LOL
Robin does as well.

I think if he did Pound's "death" like Pekom's demise....then everything would be alright. But the fact that we wasted an entire chapter on it....thats when I cant forgive.
I don't like that too, charge emotionally the dead of the #secondary character that you know will probably be back.. And then have it back in a cover story. But the worst was chapter 900: it was chapter 9 hundred (and they are always significative) and the supposed final chapter of WCI and you have a very strong event in the destruction of the Sunny with all the WCI SH on board just to have it completely trashed the next chapter.

This reminds me that I would have liked Marineford arc far more if there were real casualties in the battle with at least a good numbers of the Whitebeard Pirates and several allies captains, many marines including VAs like Momonga or Strawberry or Onigumo having died.

Characters that come are usually if noteworthy strength taking on something with an unknown strength.

This was Oven not being able to kill a fodder.
Do I need to remind you of Enel basically demolishes Conis's father??? With a MASSIVE Lightening bolt...

Where her father doesn't even hold any significant role in future anyway... LOL... so him coming back isn't even important!!!! It's WAAAAAAAAAAY LESS important than:
- Pell
- Pound
or any other false death

At least Pound will be reuniting with his family and be able to see Lola/Chiffon and if capone ever appears in future... they may have a role...

Pell has a role with protecting Vivi in Reverie... so maybe Oda didn't kill him off because he still has a role for him

I think the same for Pedro... I think he will come in clutch in this war SAVING CARROT in a HUUUUGE pinch... and his entrance will be in his SOLUNG FORM... where we as fans do not recognize who he is at first glance... BUT Carrot will be the person who ends the chapter by saying "Pedro" while crying in tears... telling us viewers that it's Pedro

Anyway... all of those people Oda can have a role for them

With Conis father... that is THE MOST IRRELEVANT COMEBACK hahahaha... so at this point... people should be 100% sure of seeing the dead body... 100% sure he's properly buried... 100% seeing ALL Plots about this character is resolved... And there is NOT A SINGLE CONNECTION LEFT... in fact, there is NOT a single theory floating around from fans that this guy is alive...

Meaning... if you see a fan creating a thread, EVEN ONCE... saying that this character might be alive... it means... we are not 100% sure Oda killed him

So when you see fans deem that death in the same way as "Ace or WB" where NOT A SINGLE ONE creates a thread that those guys survived LOL.. that's when you are 100% done

Pound being alive is pretty much ruining the second half of the WCI arc even more, as someone who enjoyed the WCI arc and has defended it Oda is making it more harder for me to defend the arc. Pound being alive is making me like the WCI arc less and less, the last straw for me would be finding out that Germa escaped safely making that cliffhanger that Oda did a complete waste.

Lol, Pedro is a SURE COMEBACK for me, Yasui not so much.. but who knows.. I wouldn't exclude it LOL... But Pedro? I'm telling you all, just you wait and see for yourselves!
And my reasoning for that are very simple honestly:

1- WCI arc, it had a full moon (where Carrot used her solung)... Same for Pekoms who is LESS IMPORTANT as character than Pedro.... he went Solung.... And we know for a fact that Pedro can control his solung form... because he TRAINED Carrot for it.... If Oda wanted Pedro dead...he would have revealed ALL OF PEDRO'S cards and arsenal before killing him..... meaning he would have gone Solung BEFORE dying to basically see EVERYTHING about him... hiding Pedro's solung form means Oda is DELAYING its appearance... otherwise it doesn't make sense... the SHs were in real pinch in that arc that Oda is giving all kinds of plotholes to make the SH escape... why wouldn't he make Pedro reveal a powerful form to help them BEFORE sacrifcing himself in a different event...

2- His connection to Bepo by having Zepo as partner NEVER BEEN BROUGHT UP... but Oda will have to make Pedro and Bepo have their moment about reminiscing Zepo

3- Sanji's words at the very end of the arc, where it feels like Sanji understood Pedro the most despite his sacrifice... Pedro sure is happy to sacrifice himself to let SH run... but Sanji hinted that "this was NOT your place of death" despite Pedro's own conviction of going to that island not intending to die... Reason is... Pedro's dream is explained to us as him wanting to be the bridge or the linchpin of the new dawn (which is by making the SH the bringer of the new dawn... escape from there)

HOWEVER, this is NOT HIS ORIGINAL DREAM... Pedro wanted to be PART OF that new dawn, which was hinted by those points:
- Him asking Roger to take him because he felt that he can accomplish it with Roger
- Him taking out his own eyes... trying to survive by any cost... to witness the new dawn

4- Lastly, and the BIGGEST CLUE for any One Piece character not dying yet... is we NEVER SAW THEIR BODIES... people should know better with this reason basically

that's on top of many CLUES AND HINTS that he's joining the SHs from "Foxy arc" where Luffy drew Pedro's crescent moon ear.... or the similarities/contrast Pedro shares with other crewmembers:
1- With Jinbe who is ex-captain of Sun Pirates/ while Pedro is ex-captain of "nox pirates" (Nox = night)

2- With Brook, who BOTH LOST 50 years of their life! Brook spent it ALONE.. Isolated... Pedro were stolen from him by BM

3- His style which matches Sanji...

Lastly, his position as a Lookout... which he did during their travels into WCI... also Jaguar is known for the "NIGHT VISION" ability

and lastly, the cover page which showed ALL PRESENT and FUTURE SHs as cats: it's our job to analyze which one is who!

There are some obvious ones like:
5 Chopper
1 Nami
2 Zoro
10 Jinbe

etc..

Number 11 is PEDRO FOR SURE... that is EXACTLY how Pedro's tail look like... just look it up

He's a future SH... and he RESONATED with Luffy 100 times more than Carrot... if he makes a comeback which he WILL... and Luffy sees him again... pretty sure Luffy will ask him to join him...
Chill

1. "Showing all of his arsenal before his death"
You have a point but that's not 100% necessary.
Iirc:
- Both Whitebeard and Ace didn't show awakening before their death in Marineford arc. Ace also never used CoC in present time iirc, only showed it once in ASL flashback.

"But but their awakening is a mystery and will be revealed by the next user: Sabo and Blackbeard!!"
Well Sulong real hype can also be revealed later by Dukes who are both above Pedro.

2. Bepo / Zepo / Pedro moment
For NOW, all 3 of them are just side characters. Oda already levellled down Straw hats that are main characters, making them less likeable than their pre TS era.
So it's too optimistic to think some side characters will get such closure justice. I meant, even Sanji who is main character, and his plot with the Vinsmokes wasn't fully finished yet and WCI is already over.

3. OP is about "inherited will".

P.s.
If Pedro ever comes back alive and joins the crew, that day will surely be 1 of my HAPPIEST MOMENT in entire life. Bye bye rabbit, now we get a badass handsome big jaguar.
But let's not keep your expectation too high.

@Sadistic Senpai I think last chance Pedro will appear in Wano, is with Jinbe's arrival. Jinbe was from WCI, so it makes most sense that if Pedro ever comes back, he will appear together with a character that's also coming from WCI. But that didn't happen, Jinbe came alone, so...

"Why not with Nekomamushi? Pedro is Neko's man not Jinbe"
Because Neko doesn't arrive from WCI. Last time he was shown, he was in Marco's island.
So for Pedro to appear with Nekomamushi, the scenario more or less has to be:
1. Pedro came from WCI along with Jinbe
2. Somehow they meet Team Neko on the way
3. Pedro grouped himself with team Neko, while Jinbe that can move faster in sea, reach Wano earlier than Team Neko.

But this doesn't make many sense because:
1. Until now Jinbe never mentioned about Team Neko that they met on the way. If he wants to talk about it, best time is right now, when the full war hasn't started yet.
2. It's weird anyway that Jinbe travels alone and leaving Team Neko behind. Why not coming together?

Does that mean Monet is coming back?:neesama:
Don't think so. Unlike Pound, she wasn't off-panelled.

We got a shot at Caesar piercing his heart, thinking it was Smoker's, with what was supposed to be a fatal blow. Then we got a shot of Monet spitting blood, looking down at where her heart should have been and then collapsed.

As stupid as Pound surviving is, we never actually saw the hit. With Monet, we saw everything we needed to see to know that she'd die on the spot.

Plus : Monet's just as evil as any of the Doflamingo Family. She wouldn't have any reason to join the Strawhats, and they wouldn't want them anyway, considering what she did to the children. She may have boobs but she is as rotten as Caesar himself.
