I have a question, what sane mafia let live claimed investigator, and kills instead someone else?

Competent ones. Ones Muu1 & Nat Sussed. It’s muc( smarter to get rid of a vocal Townie especially ones that can lead town than have multiple townies who are being suspected to keep them around for mislynch Ed.
