Is Zoro going to end with an eyepatch at EoS? Afaik Oda is saving it for someone special. :catblush:

Every character with an eye injury can open their eyes, except for Fujitora, who purposely blinded himself.
The only other person with an eye injury who cannot technically open their eyes is Pedro, but that is because he does not even have an eye left.
Zoro's scar is also exactly like Rayleighs, very shallow. I expect him to open it some time, but why could it be closed for so long? Perhaps he is forcing himself to fight and live with just one eye, so that he can train all his other senses and when he opens his other eye he has a significant power boost as he regains eyesight? If you've watched Bleach, this would be similar to Kenpachi's eyepatch.

One of the reason I’m very excited by the end of Wano, we will know for sure if Zoro lose his eye.

Even tho I think that Zoro really lose his eye, I think that it is possible that he is a way to train his CoO.

I expect a CoO buff once opened but it may get damaged in future which would result in an eyepatch and thus reaching the badass level: perfection.

All this eye scars talk actually reminded me of Auron from FF10, which I've been replaying. I feel he's pretty similar to Zoro. Specifically an EOS Zoro who has completed his journey with Luffy and become the WSS.

Auron is stoic and reserved, but imparts lots of helpful wisdom to the brash Tidus. Zoro feels like he's getting more wise and weathered, especially after training with Mihawk. Auron also embarked on a great journey with Braska, similar to how Zoro's currently on a great journey with Luffy. The experience that came from that journey is reflected on Auron, as I think it would be for Zoro once he's finished his.

There are some differences, like Auron not being directionally challenged, and Zoro being a bit less distant, but when I envision a mentor Zoro, Auron's the closest thing I can think of.
