I feel the Zoro Nami relationship is being slept on... he actually had quite a few interactions with Nami pre skip... post skip Oda has Zoro barely ineract with anyone...well that goes to all sh's
They all just seem to be there to wank Luffy
Edit: oh yeah.. meant friend vibes not some romance before i have the SaNa brigade comming here for my head

on outside yes but zoro saved her ass a lot of times also...and u should go re-read arlong park for nice zoro-nami interactions...just that shows how they developed a deep trust later...
than u have zoro protecting her in alabasta...also in skypea...and the scene where she threw him that shirt after he fought the sky shark...it's the nice casual interacitons ...and also something we don't see now at all
Edit: actually when i think about it pre skip Zoro has great interactions with many sh's... they are just a bit more subtle...hell he even was the one who shared a nice scene with Brook in TB
The fact is that Oda didn't give any room for Straw Hats to actually get together and have moments Post-TS. It was one problem after another non-stop. Furthermore, most of the time, they remained separated during an arc, and that didn't help.
Most opportunities for intra-crew moments came in WCI and Zoro wasn't part of it. But Luffy-Sanji-Nami dynamic in WCI made it clear that Oda hasn't forgotten about those moments. Now, in Wano, he is jumbling so many characters and story-lines that he is even skipping common story threads. It is unfortunate, but that is how it is. Otherwise, there was plenty of opportunities for crew moments in Wano.
In any case, Luffy/Zoro relationship is as vivid as ever. But I wish Oda would've given a more care to Zoro/Chopper reunion as he did with Luffy/Zoro reunion.
At the end of the day, I reckon Luffy and Zoro are the only ones who will continue their adventures together at EoS, so that is of most concern anyway.
Zoro and Perona have an adorable relationship, I’m still torn between seeing them as siblings or potential romantic interests, but she does try to take care of him. As much as Perona, spoiled as she is, is capable of taking care of others anyway lol
The anime really pandered to the Zoro/Perona ship but funnily enough Nissin’s Hungry Days Nami commercial seemed to imply that Mihawk and Perona were romantically involved. Anyway, I like Zoro’s dynamic with Perona where she guided him back to Sabaody and saw him off on his journey.

Zoro always shouts and argues with perona/nami/tashigi
I was always a zoro preskip robin fan. But alas she died in the timeskip to be replaced by a gag character.
From what you guys have shown me (thanks to everyone who linked panels) COC tends to have 3 main sound effects
ギン - glare
ギロ - Sharp glare
ドクン - sudden pulse like a heartbeat
And occasionally ゴオォ(intimidating aura)
The Cracker panels have
ゴゴゴ and ゴオォ(intimidating aura) which Zoro has shown sometimes and Mihawk showed this at Marineford, however Oda specifically said it wasn’t haki in this moment. Not sure what Cracker used to intimidate the homies but it does seem different to Zoro/Mihawk, whose opponents seemed to foresee the aftereffects of Zoro/Mihawk’s attacks. We also don’t really know how homies work and how you can exorcise or kill them, Amande killed King Baum but he apparently resurrected later and this was never explained...

Eh I’m not getting a lot of familial vibes from the straw hats right now. Maybe a brotherly bond between Luffy and Zoro but looking at say Zoro and Brook, Zoro and Franky, or Brook and... everyone else? There’s not much going on there. Not to mention that Mihawk is acting in a fatherly way towards Perona now, contributing to the impression that those three are indeed a family with pets aka the humandrills.
I would say his bond with Luffy is stronger than anything. Pretty much everything Zoro has done since Baratie has been for Luffy’s sake. I didn’t hear him mentioning the Straw Hats when he was desperately trying to get out to sea, I heard him speak only of Luffy. Which makes perfect sense, Zoro and Luffy have always had a special bond, but I can’t say the same about Zoro and most of the other SHP.
Im not even trolling when I say that Mihawk is probably the one that Zoro relates to most. Zoro only has two real interests - booze and swords. Who else is a liquor connoisseur and likes swords?
Zoro and RObin, Zoro and Nami, Zoro and Sanji (well mostly because they're from east Blue, also Ussop)
Of course Zoro can't relate with a talking reindeer, that's not the point
Imo, the Strawhats are Zoro's true family. He doesn't show it often, but he's not the type to open up unless necessary.
It would be nice to see how Zoro's relationship with Mihawk and Perona had developed during the 2 year timeskip, though. I do view it akin to a father and his adopted children. Mihawk is certainly a significant older male figure in Zoro's life, similar to Koshiro. Yasu had the potential to be one as well had he not passed away soon after meeting Zoro.
They all formed a deep bond with people they spent with training during the 2 years skip, except Sanji and Brook.
SH's would come first, sure but in those 2 years, people they trained with, they grew on them for sure.
I wonder if Oda isn't setting up a curveball with the Zoro taking part of Kaido fight.... Kaido being a dragon... Zoro getting a sword that managed to scar Kaido... it's very in your face and Oda loves to pull a twist
The problem is any other scenario would seem like a let down

It's weird how he makes all those top swordsmen at worst grey dudes... Mihawk, Vista, Fuji ...they all are more good than bad and not really in conflict with Zoro
Only one seems Shiryu but he is a gimmick pony and looks like a rejected street fighter design
I pray we don't go the stupid Shiryu somehow beats Mihawk way just to create some tension for the BB crew fight

The hype came from the statement that Shiryu was just as strong as Magellan and more bloodthirsty. I remember, people considering Magellan to be as strong as an Admiral.
