What if this happens..
Smoker & Tashigi arrives near at Wano to escort Vegepunk on a ship. They are shock to see an island is floating due to clouds but then they see a person(Luffy) falling. Smoker rush in to the air to retrieve the person, only to bare witness that its a knock out Luffy. Hesitate to do what is right or wrong, Vegepunk ask who is this person and why do I sense a tremendous amount of willpower!? The devil of his fruit wants to be awaken.
But nah.. Yamaoto would probably save Luffy. :/

I'm still hopeful Luffy actually falls on Wano. The people of the country finally recognize an outsider fighting for them, and it begins the process of freeing them from their xenophobia.
Personally, I'm hoping Smoker and Tashigi are already on Onigashima. Pipe dream, I know, but there's room that multiple ships came to Onigashima.

Thread was locked, but here are my thoughts: I don't think Vegapunk will directly enhance Tashigi with performance drugs. I believe he might have a training center for her to hone her skills. I don't think it's an accident G-5 have went the longest without being seen. They were fairly regular characters pre-timeskip. So, to me, Smoker and Tashigi should come back into the story far stronger than we last saw them. Then, they should have a little spar with Luffy and Zoro respectively to show their results, but more importantly to clear the air between them and confirm their new goals after the period of reflection they had since Punk Hazard open their eyes on the Marine's deep seeded corruption.
This is also just me, but I believe Tashigi will be among the new generation of Admirals. The reason I feel this is way is Smoker is very much a lone wolf by nature. He'd rather employ his justice freely and without the restrains of regulation, deferring responsibility of the soldiers to Tashigi, who is more by the books.
Personally, I'm hoping Smoker and Tashigi are already on Onigashima. Pipe dream, I know, but there's room that multiple ships came to Onigashima.

That's the tricky part. I was hoping she would have an animal related to her name, something that can fly, but the only one that fits is the Dragon, which Oda may or may not reserve for the character named Dragon. The Rabbit is the next best bet due to its association with the moon in Japanese folklore, and Wano is a country heavily tied to the moon.
I want to learn more about the Shimotsuki. Why they are the only ones who occupy 2 regions, and what that may mean.
I personally believe there are two branches. The Hakumai and Ringo branches. Zoro, Ushimaru, and Ryuma would come from the Ringo branch, while Kuina, Koshiro, Yasu, Kozaburo, and potentially Tashigi come from the Hakumai branch.
One thing I've taken a notice of is how important cultivating warriors seems to be within the Shimotsuki clan. You have Yasu rallying his samurai to be a defense for Wano.
Ryuma who strove to protect Wano from all threats, and Kozaburo who left Wano and founded a village and dojo to train new swordsmen.
Tashigi has apparently adopted this practice, as she assures Zoro that she takes her training as a swordswoman seriously.

With the last chapter there is no doubt another confrontation between Zoro and Kaido will happen. Oda is teasing and building up that juiciness. Marimo is not just fighting to win he is also carrying the weight of his own father, clan, samurais, Oden, and citizens of Wano.
I think Kaido is gonna make the connection between Ushimaru and Zoro soon to increase the stakes. Marimo's flashback will happen before their eventual fight.
I wonder where Tashigi and Kuina will fit in all of this.
Next week we will see our captain in the colorspread. I hope Oda doesn't throw her into the background.

Tashigi end up being a Shimotsuki because we still don't know her family name and I like @KiriNigiri idea that there are two branches of the family tree.

Not really a tashigi specific theory but something i think would be in general cool especially if it was tashigi
But pretty much if saw someone able to use and master all 12 supreme grade swords
We know one of her dreams is to take all the graded swords away from all the bad people wielding them with there being like 80 in circulation.

I think it's unlikely she gets all of the 12, since some of them belonged to righteous men like Newgate. Specifically for him, it's placed alongside his grave. She'd honor that even if he was a pirate.
I believe she'll retrieve the Shodai Kitetsu as well as Raiu (Shiryu's blade). Still not sure about the latter's rank.

Sorry if I've been gone for a while. Stuff's come up that's kept my attention, but nothing too serious.
I sort of want to jump start discussion again with the long standing question if Tashigi and the rest of G-5 will arrive in Wano. It seems like an appropriate time to bring it up since we're approaching the climax of Wano, or at least the Raid. I was thinking of making a poll, but I'd rather hear everyone's thoughts. Sorry if you wished not to be tagged. Let me know.

It all depends on how the CP0 subplot is developing. Apoo made a point that whoever wins will be worn out from the battle. Just as expected Law and Kidd did not take down BM after using their last resort attacks. In addition, they don't have any emotional connection to her character to make her eventual loss satisfying.
There is a dilemna that if the rookies pirate alliance win tonight CP0 will make Wano be part of the WG with no choice of self governance. Whitebeard did tell Oden that his country in some way was free from the evils of the Celestial Dragons. I don't think Luffy, Zoro or Momo's father would want that but they will likely be out of action if they win.
However if Kaido, BM, King, Queen are still standing I don't think Lucci and co will try taking over the country now. I do hope the outcome of this battle will push Smoker and Tashigi to go against CP0.

I am still a firm believer that Vegapunk will come with Smoker/Tashigi & G5 to cure all the wano citizens from the smiles side effects.
Then Smoker & Co will witness the corruption of the WG by seeing cp0 subdueing Wano to be under the world governmet by force. Such as hurting the wano citizens and the samurais.
Which Tashigi/Smoker have to choose a stand. Side with the WG or side with the strawhats? [Would be interesting if Smoker sided with the WG but Tashigi sided with the strawhats.]

Make of that how you will. I think it's interesting she was grouped alongside those whom come from Zoro's hometown.

More seriously, I have reread the Loguetown story in which its called the town of the beginning and end where Roger was born, and executed. Luffy obviously wants to visit that place because he is trying to be PK. Coincidentally, Zoro meets Tashigi who looks like his supposedly dead friend. Marimo's whole quest began with his rivalry and promise with Kuina. Themes such as destiny, dreams, parallels, inherited will, and fate are deliberately at the core of this arc. I don't think its a coincidence that in one the sketches Zoro is surrounded by Mihawk and Tashigi.
