Yes. There is a section of the fandom that believes all 5 Gorosei are all individually stronger than Pirate King Roger

So please from now on when you read these chapters with the Gorosei, imagine pirate king Roger in their place and he’s doing an even worse job than the Gorosei in each scenario.

This is where the Gorosei wank has led us now

What does strength have to do with plot

They won't kill the strawhats

Admirals couldn't kill fodder luffy
Yonko couldn't kill the weak strawhats

This can be easily refuted. If they were stronger than Prime Roger, Roger (~30 years old), Whitebeard, Kaido and Big Mom (none in their primes, I think) wouldn't escape alive from God Valley... Saturn was there + the God's Knights. They wouldn't even need Garp, IMO.

Make them prove a gorosei has advcoc first,
or that any gorosei member has attacks on the level of king Kong gun let alone gear 5 advcoc attacks. Only thing we saw is a dressrosa Zoro level cut from Venus and some coa from mars being hyped from jinbei and finally warcury with his tanky devil fruit with which he never landed any attack on anyone. even Zeus can launch stronger attacks than the beam launched by mars and Saturn's projectiles are so slow even usopp can make them explode before landing and this is an underestimation for usopp

I have yet to see any section of the community sayin they are above PK roger.


All people have said is they are top tiers and as of now luffy a legit yonkou is running away from them so their speculation makes sense.


Infact, I have seen the opposite. There are section of people who thinks elders are even below BM when Luffy failed to do anything against them.


And, elders not being able to take SHs out is simply because of plot. No one did. It's plot convenience for Main characters

The gorosei being above Roger wouldn’t necessarily mean they are more capable than Roger in everything.

Their strongest power is immortality.

Also, as others have said, they are being held back by plot.

At the moment however, the gorosei have a form of invulnerability that even Luffy cannot counter. Them being comparable to Roger is tbh a legit take.

Luffy couldn’t take out a single Gorosei. He’s running from them.

They don't have to because their focus is VP and not SHs.

And, them doing anything against SH isn't an argument because every opponent becomes incompetent when SHs are involved in major arcs. Luxury of being MCs.



And, another thing is if luffy isn't able to do shit then having all SHs won't make a difference.

They are walking regen machine. They don't care who is hitting them...all they want is to stop the broadcast

Yes the SHs and giants can't beat the gorosei but this doesn't mean the gorosei are yonko level it just means they have regen , they can't beat the pirates in a short time either they aren't shanks .They can't stop toptiers one on one from doing what they want @Reborn

He doesn't need to he just sends them flying to marijoa and moves on if its one on one just like he did to oden
One big attack from gaban roger and Rayleigh and they go flying to the next island do it five times
