General & Others Which arc felt more dangerous? Whole Cake Island or Wano?

#81
Whole Cake Island actually felt dangerous at the beggining, with the Seducing Woods with Cracker being shown as an opponent able of easely dealing with G4 Luffy and Brûlée's speech about how the Supernovas failed to do anything against Big Mom, the Enraged Army beating Luffy, the Tea Party with Katakuri's badass introduction, Big Mom and her crew easely beating the Straw Hats, Firetanks and Vinsmokes. But even then there were holes in this with the second part of the fight with Cracker being botched, Luffy and Sanji meeting again too easely, the Firetanks not being suspected by Big Mom at all.

And then after the Tamatebakko explosion everything went out of the window and any sense of real threat and epicness was gone in favour of too heavy plot armor and conveniences.

So far Wano lacks real sense of danger outside of Kaido's one-shot beating of Luffy and his epic speech about the Ancient Weapons and the New Onigashima Project. The raid really lacks any sense of danger so far with it being just like the second half of WCI, sometimes even worse.
I agree with almost everything you said

first half of WCI was the peak of one piece, pure joy.
The new world and yonko hype payed off. It was just way too good... the good old times, man.

WCI

Luffy arrives at Wano. Brulee and Cracker meet him. Brulee forces everyone on immediate defense while trapping several straw hats.

Cracker owns Luffy and Luffy is forced to retreat and fight over and over. It is only when Nami joins that Luffy has a real chance against Cracker and even then it is extreme diff

After beating Cracker while being dead tired Luffy is immediatly attacked by enranged army and is nearly killed.

Meanwhile Wano

Luffy lands and one shots some scrubs and first real enemy is Holdem he also one shots

considering how fail kaidou's crew is, even dofla crew looked more dangerous, and you didn't have tama to tame the 80 ministers
Doflamingo's crew?
The same crew where Trebol and Diamante both went down from a single attack?

The same crew where one of them was defeated by a gag face?

The same crew that had 3 executives humiliated by Zoro with a single kick?

The same crew that couldn't take out Franky in a Four on one battle with a Vice Admiral backing them?

The same crew that where everyone besides Senior Pink lost to a One shot?

realistically bird cage should have viped out 2/3 of dressrossas population
And yet it didn't scratch any citizens at all which is why Dressrosa is one of the most confusing arc out there.

The only real deal in Doffy's crew are Pica and Vergo but even them are no match for Supernova like Zoro and Law.

The start of WCI, then Big Mom became Big Meme and made almist everything ridicoulous, Kata tried to keep up the show but the diaguating amount of plot power used to make Luffy win probably made it look even worse, then there was Smoothie and the final straw, not to count how BM sabotaged her side the most instead of being the pillar of it, was that final chapter with BM singing. Finally, chapter 900, BM regained her senses and it seemed Luffy had to finally pay the price for wrecking havoc in a yonko HQ with half the crew... But it was just fake tension. Disappointed.

And at that point you can't take seriously Wano when we have seen WCI (plus we have the whole crew plus strong allies).
