I think the matchup is already set in stone, it's Marco & Sanji vs King and Queen. Yamato will stall Kaido until Zoro and Luffy are back up then we will get a 2 v 1 just like with Kidd and Law vs BM.

Chopper is still rather fine most likely.

His drawback was not being able to move for hours after just 3 minutes of MP, now he used it for almost 30 minutes and Caesar talked about risks.
Chopper ain't fine, I would not be surprised if he won't be able to fight for the rest of the war. Honestly, even him being able to medicate is a lot for the condition he's in.

He will help Hiyori to kill with Orochi, since she is the one that expressed the desire to kill him. Now she needs Ame no Habakiri and Zoro's help.

This is interesting now. The assumption since Zoro went back down was that Perospero would blindside Marco who was fighting King and Queen and that would free up Zoro for King.

That isn’t happening now, Sanji’s already taken Queen, And I really can’t see King actually managing to defeat Marco in a clean 1 vs 1. From what we saw, it was Marco that was on top in the 1 vs 2 when he was outnumbered, he wasn’t beaten when Perospero joined the fight, why would King suddenly be able to beat him now?

But I do think that, as much as I want it to be Marco vs King, it’ll be Zoro that beats him.

So... wtf is going to happen to Marco? What situation is going to arise to make Marco just leave the fight with King alone for some reason? Is he going to need to cure someone else? Go and help Yamato or Kid/Law?

Will also be cool if Luffy and Zoro make their comebacks in the same chapter

That's where I'm at too. Marco is left 1 vs 1 no ones there to back stab distract etc
For king vs zoro king needs to beat Marco. Still there is no actual set up for zoro vs King.

Luffys off the island in a sub full of doctors to heal
Choppers taken zoro to heal
Queens taken sanji
Peros got sent flying and has neko about to arrive to fight him
Yamato will be solo against Kaido I and everyone expect this to trigger kaidos back story
Kidd and law seem set for a while with big mom
Marco doesn't fit there imo I feel like oda just wanted them two as he sidelined killer with hawkins.
What else is there for him to do ?
For me even now he's the only one with the set up for king I could even see a double bounty reveal for them

now as i pointed out when i responded to that post in the main thread
the role of zoro in ennies lobby is actually being held by marco



He held off King and Queen (kaku and jabra)

And kept chopper (ussop) safe long enough for sanji to come in and save chopper (ussop)

as i said the set up is for a 1 vs 1 with marco and king
so the only way i see king vs zoro is if he beats marco

I can see a scenario where Marco uses a lot of his phoenix regenerative power (if it exists) to speed-heal zoro to near full strength, causing him to be too weak to fight someone like King.

It really depends if Oda wants sideline Marco and wank Zoro even more

I hope Zoro won't face King, for the reason that potentially speaking a single Asura attack could mess him up enough to defeat him, so that would look pretty redundant as a match up most likely, even had Zoro simply relied on his Base.
