It's actually painful how obvious it is......like do people even realize what a Chekov Gunn is?......why the hell would Oda give Sanji 2 ways to fly AND also give King 2 ways to fly, both use fire and kicks......then just have Sanji not fight him?. Like simply don't write a pistol into a story where it's never going to be fired. If Oda doesn't have Sanji fight this dude then why give (King ) all the abilities that makes him the perfect matchup?. But still the chances of Oda making Sanji fight Queen can't be ignored, I just hope this author gives the character the best possible outcome as he gave Luffy and Zoro. Let's be honest here, Zoro couldn't have gotten a better matchup than Kaido and Big mom, there really isn't something that can top that, we know Sanji won't be facing Kaido so give HIM the best option which is of course King.
I think Sanji will team up with someone to 2v2 King and Queen.

I get that is a possibility but it kills all tension tbh.....when I imagine Sanji vs King, there are no other people or structures involved, just two dudes in the air trying to kill each other....anything not that is a waste of a fight. I think Oda realizes how much he has neglected Sanji from a action standpoint, so giving him a 2v2 just isn't going to cut it. Oda has to make it personal between Sanji and King so we are invested; Marco vs K and Q was dynamic but not personal so It actually can't carry multiple chapters, at some point it just becomes a display of cool shit.....I don't want to see that. The best part of the rooftop was when it became personal and Zoro was talking about how if Kaido wanted to take his captain out he had to take him out first, that's what I want.

Nah it's not as obvious as Sanji vs Queen, them flying means nothing, they fought CP9 before who could all fly. Queen clearly has history with Judge, that alone makes Sanji beating Queen 90% likely

I get it, a more personal fight would be awesome. I'd be cool with Sanji fighting either King or Queen personally.

Actually that's what makes it more obvious; King is the only one of the two who is a aerial combatant so it makes sense for the one who can fly (Sanji) to take him down. Kaku didn't use his skywalk against Zoro, but that's because he was purely a swordsman, that was his forte. King's forte IS aerial combat and so these are completely different situations. A interaction between Sanji and Queen could resolve the Judge issue, a fight does not need to happen between them. I am not saying that this fight is not a possibility but I believe if you look at things holistically then the King fight makes more sense.

Yes, it’s when a main villain talks about taking out the strong members of the Strawhats, looks at a picture of Sanji and thinks about his family
Yes of course, that can only be resolved through a fight of course.....no way it can be resolved any other way.....yes yes very true. But giving Sanji abilities compatible with King...hmmmm how do we have that work?. Guess we give just scrap that and base an entire fight off a character that the author didn't even bother exploring further in an arc where he was a key player.

Arguments for Sanji vs Queen:
- Queen talks about Sanji being Judge's son in 1 panel. Despite we having ZERO context about what this connection can be. Only speculations.

Arguments for Sanji vs King:
- During the PU's reveal show that was FI, Sanji was shown as having the Geppou ability from CP9 (which he calls Skywalk). Flying became a thing on his arsenal.
- During his fight against Judge, he mentions that aerial combat is his forte.
- He clashed with King once, showcased once again the durability of the RS.
- During the group shot, he talks about all the flying users of the Beast Pirates.
- He's heading to the Live Floor, carrying a severely wounded Zoro.
- Chopper is currently using the Monster Point. When he reverts back, he won't be able to move for a while, so he can't treat Zoro right away. Chopper used the Monster Point to fight Queen, so I assume he's still fighting him.
- Marco is there, and possess some hack healing ability that Oda can asspull into being more effective than what was previously shown because reasons, but for that, he would have to stop fighting King.
- Sanji can fight King so Marco can heal Zoro.

You don't want to understand do you? What happened when Zoro fought Kaido, BM, Monet, Fujitora, Kaku all with the ability to fly?

Let's ignore that and ignore Queen's ties with the Vinsmokes but no King and Sanji can fly. Lol.

Mmm, I wonder.

Who's better equipped to fight a swordsman with fire abilities?

Another swordsman with fire cutting abilities maybe? :zorothink:

And who's better equipped to fight a bozo with poison bullets?

Maybe a dude with a protective suit? :sanmoji:

You're also ignoring that they don't need to fight for that to be resolved....and those comparisons you gave are so bad I don't even know where to start. There is a difference between having a capability to fight in the air, or that being your forte or specialty. That's why Zoro a sword specialist fights other sword specialists in major arcs, it's the same logic.
