You are comparing apples with oranges.. This was an assasination there. He was caught offguard and they jumped at him all at once. When he goes at them and storms into them with thunder baguas, this is a completely different story.

You don't need those "suddenly appearing behind" them stuff for that. They simply cannot block him. So if he's in attack, one is going down for sure to that move.
