Are you certain that Rayleigh didnt protect Roger while fighting Rocks? Why do you give so many opportunities to Oda to body you?
Luffy didnt need protection against Lucci. He protected him from Pica which Luffy would never beat. He protected him from Daz Bones who Luffy would never beat. He protected him from Morgans. He protected him from Kuma, not just him but the whole crew.
Put down that Two Piece and you will get bodied less.

Like you are listing feats not portrayal. I mean Zoro has higher feats that Mihawk right? He actully does. But in the back our minds, we know Zoro is not stronger than Mihawk. We know this because of Portrayal. And the portrayal is that Zoro cant be stronher than Mihawk despite feats because that would mean Zoro is the strongest swordsman in the world already.
So same to Shanks. Shanks does have more feats than Mihawk but in the back of our minds we know Shanks isnt WSS because that in itself implies things the story cant allow. For example that means the narrator is lying when he calls Mihawk the WSS and it means Zoro will have to beat Shanks and thats even more impossible. See.
That title in itself carries way more implications for Portrayal than you realise. Zoro at the end of Wano will have clashed with Big mom, king and Fujitora in the story and yet his goal states Mihawk is the strongest swordsman. Thats VERY HIGH PORTRAYAL

Stronger than Luffy for missing a sword slash and potentially damaging a distracted already damaged Kaido? Reminder that Kaido hallucinated Roger/Rocks/WB/Shanks/Oden behind Luffy, while the yonkos seem more interested in Zoro's sword from the dialogue than the wielder...
There has been no "multiple times" during this rooftop fight. The only chapter Luffy has looked bad is this chapter due to Oda's necessity to stretch this battle out as the other battles go on.
This is now going to turn into a stall war, Luffy will recharge then beat Kaido.
As well as making Luffy look like a retard for blowing his load this is just going to make the SNs look pathetic that they can't do anything to Kaido without Boundman kicking him all over the place.
