Oda to this day defends a man arrested for possession of child pornography.
And you mad because Sanji hooked up with a 16 years old?
At least 16 years old is already age of consent in a LOT of places.
Wanna play the high and mighty white knight? At least address the real problems.
Also remember Sanji is just 21.
He barely is old enough to drink in some places. Lol.
Are you really using Sanji as an example of how you should treat women? The amount of sexual harassment and objectification from Sanji's part is disgusting.
Most complex character in One Piece so far. Like any other character in fiction I have things that I like about him and things that I don't but he's great overall. I'm waiting to see him go all out for the first time after the time skip in a 1 on 1 fight with either King or Queen going in the future, though I'd prefer the first match up for a cool arial fight.
PS- I was never in a forum before so I don't know about other forums but it's quite pathetic that some people here have nothing better to do but troll and hate on Sanji 24/7 even when he has nothing to do with a chapter or even discussion throughout many threads in this forum. I have never seen that level of rediculous in my life. That's what I noticed at the very least.
My opinion of Sanji on the story right now is quite simple: get him out of here and bring back Mr. Prince, now that was a cool character.
I used to really enjoy Sanji back in the pre-ts, i was still annoyed by his gag, but after the TS i just couldn't see past it, Oda went too far.
Sanji has no cool moments anymore, not like he used to back in the pre-TS, such as the Mr. Prince moments or just being a smart fighter, now all he does is kick, and not impressively at that.
So yeah, since the TS, Sanji is the only SH i dislike and WCI was a tough watch / read.
Honestly, it wouldn't take too much for Oda to turn Sanji around to pre ts level greatness, but it's up to Oda. I like Sanji, he may not be my favorite, but I cannot imagine the Strawhats without him.

Do I have to repeat myself saying that I condemn Sanji's pervertness?
I'm pretty sure I've made myself quite clear about it.
I'm not "using Sanji as an example".
I'm saying that, while some consider him a "simp" or whatever crap, the character has a huge female fanbase.
Different subjects.
Instead of quoting and trying to respond to something I'm not saying, instead, read each comment and actually understand what I'm saying in each of them.
Seriously.
The amount of people that quote me and start mixing whatever I've written is actually amazing.
You people are way to eager to "PWN" people in the internet, but spend too little time actually reading and trying to understand what people are saying.

If Sanji was a "simp" I would have zero problems with him.
This "simp" crap is something that a bunch of nerds talk about like "alpha male" and all that crap.
It is also a huge problem worldwide, because of the consequences it causes in the social development of people.

I started to simply ignore these "trolls" when one of them quoted me and was blabbering about "our fandom has won. your fandom is dead. what are you still doing here?"
Some people are simply too much invested in this "fandom war".
It's not exclusive to One Piece or Zoro or whatever. It happens in other fandoms as well since forever. The thing is that it keeps getting worse as time passes.
Internet helps these people get validation by allowing them to band together.
Internet is good, but it has its problems
Oda meant to say his character is not as good as it is anymore. Oda introduced his backstory with the Vinsmokes, his resolve with Zeff and so on in Whole Cake Island. He didn't say anything about Sanji not being badass or being strong anymore lol.
The kinda act like it isn't a big deal.
Only Nami complains about it being rude.
The rest is more like "yeah, it's kinda like that really".
Chapter 491.
Usopp plays along with Sanji depression, even Luffy finds it "disgusting".
I dont know about Usopp and Luffy, but that's usopp nature, he will play along with almost everything, while sanji do that to women only. and i dont remember that luffy part, could you tell me the chapter?
Sanji was drooling over all of Black Maria's crew-mates and some of them are what plenty would refer to as "less attractive." He saved Chiffon without worrying about her appearance. In fact, I honestly don't think he cares all that much. Aside from Kokoro, he's either been drooling over or nice to all women. And even with Kokoro, that was him being let down over the appearance of a mermaid and everyone else was pretty mean too. It was simply a joke.

I think Sanji's pretty cool and while I don't think all parts of Whole Cake Island were necessary, him being characterized by his kindness wasn't a big issue to me. He's always been the protector of the crew and most of his fights post-timeskip have been him saving someone e.g. Sanji vs Vergo (saving Tashigi), Sanji vs Doflamingo (saving his crewmates), Sanji vs Oven (saving Chiffon), Sanji vs Daifuku to an extent (saving Carrot), even Sanji vs King. He was always the considerate guy, in his own way, he just doesn't always outwardly express it.
I also don't mind how often Sanji cried during his arc. He's always been pretty expressive in certain occasions, especially when the people important to him are involved (he cried when leaving the Baratie) and pretty much every time he cried this arc, it was due to something important. Plenty of people clown him for crying after hearing what Pudding said but it's a lot more than just "a girl I like hates me." This dude was blackmailed by his family, sacrificed himself for his crew, made it look like he was abandoning them, drove them away (tried to), met girl who appeared to like him back for a change, only for it to be all for nothing as she explains that at the wedding, they'll try to kill him and his family that dragged him into this. It was all meaningless or atleast that's how it seemed to Sanji so I get him crying.
Him betraying Luffy kinda made sense (though it was still dumb) but the series bending over backwards to make his decision seem completely irrational after everything was said and done kinda annoyed me. They basically had Zeff at gunpoint and put explosive cuffs on Sanji and there was pretty much no way this stuff could be reversed but then the cuffs are suddenly fake all along and Big Mom just forgets about Zeff (or her guys back in the East Blue stopped caring). It's like the series tried so hard to make it seem strange that Sanji thought it would be best if he solved this alone and after a while it was but the Zeff and cuffs plotline were solved pretty conveniently.

"So the legends about mermaid being dugong is true"
There is no "ugh, she's hideous", and i dont know if calling her "dugong" is an insult, it may be an insult if you think dugong is disgusting, but i dont think it's disgusting at all.

yeah you're right. But that's because luffy is straightforward to everyone, not just to women only

oh right i forgot about it, but still, have zoro done that to others? that was probably the only time zoro do that, so i dont consider it his personality

Chapter 213.
The gang peek at the woman's bath in Alabasta.
Sanji: "yo Igaram, where's the woman bath?"
Cobra: "yo, its right there!"(bear in mind his own daughter is there)
Usopp: "nice one, old man!"
And they all peek. Luffy included.

BEFORE someone says that I AM DEFENDING THESE ACTIONS, I'm not.
Just showing that despite being pervert is sanji's gag, most character are also perverts. It is just showcased less often.

Again, despite it being Sanji's recurrent gag, it's not a trait exclusive to him.
It's just that these shows have some fetish for this type of gag. They legit think it is funny.
I simply ignore it.
Zoro's talk to Enel, when Enel attacked Robin and Zoro was like "how dare you! She's a woman!" and Enel is like "I know. so what?" Like the fact of her being a woman is already enough reason for her to be protected. This is more something straight out of Oda's mind.
There are SBS where people question his female designs, and he simply respond stuff like "I like big tits, so I'm gonna draw big tits. Because horny"
