I mean:
- Is captured by Nami with ropes, defeats Buggy same arc.
- Is a dumbass that cant tell directions, defeats Kuro
- Falls for every trick in the book against Krieg, defeats Krieg via anger
- Is a dumbass that gets himself stuck in the ground, gets saved by villagers, defeats Arlong with anger strength
- Loses to Crocodile twice, wins the 3rd time with his own blood
- Goes complete, literal dumbass to try and defeat Enel, loses, then defeats Enel with a golden ball that Enel created.
- Nearly lost to Foxy.....
- Loses to Lucci bad, gains magic powerups a few hours later to win, same with Zoro
- Falls for every Moria trick, still wins via tenacity
- Falls for Caesar's oxygen trick, wins anyway
- Doesn't understand doflamingos powers, wins by brute force anyway.
- Gets mollywhopped by Cracker and Katakuro for 8+ hours each, still wins via adapting and brute force
Is it really that surprising that fodder and unknown moves like Apoo's powers or Ulti's headbutt gets to Luffy first?
