Kaido is a yonku. Yonku and admirals are the strongest in the series. His final enemy is also a yonku with the difference he will fight him on real 1vs1. Luffy now against yonku Kaido has to spend a lot effort,blood and time to win . Otherwise the rest of the series will be boring.

This was the first time Kaidou looked competent to me,, this is how the fight should be. What bad is though is we fans got this feeling close to the end of the fight.

We better get a Kaidou flashback now. And atleast 2 more chapters of fight.​

They are already at Death gate and Zoro might have even passed, giving them a drug that would double their pain atm is instant kill for them not to mention all the pain they will receive while fighting after talking the drug will also be doubled.

I hate it(not really) to be a party pooper but these "Awakening copium bois" arent thinking straight.
As someone who knows Luffy better than his own fanboys, Awakening isnt a solution.
What do you think it will bring to the table? Moar lethality? Silly Luffybros...
All you need to pray for is for someone to keep buying additional rounds for Luffy. Awakening is irrelevant vs Kaido.

Luffy should just gang up on Kaido with Yamato. Luffy fighting Kaido is just a useless slugfeat since Kaido and Big Mom are uselss for Luffy as fighters.

He should fight Shanks and the Admirals, where he can actaully learn new fighting skills.

He can learn martial arts skills from the Admirals.

He can learn next level CoC above Coating that Roger and Shanks used to match Whitebeard's Gura Gura no mi. Also they are CoC Specialists like him.

Zoro set a bar too high a year ago and Luffy still trying to catch up, without any success.
