However , this virus should teach us it s dangerous to have wet market . I am really concerned of how those virus transmit !
It's happened before with SARS. But it's hard to break the cultural, especially gastronomic ties. China has tried banning live animals sales before, but of course it never really works out. Snakes, civets, pangolins, you name it, there is someone who eats it.

The problem with these wet markets is that live animals including exotic wildlife are being kept together in terrible conditions to keep everything 'fresh' then they are killed on the spot and you have blood and liquid spray everywhere. Mixing in with masses of people.

Ucp is useless. Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia have taken steps to protect tenants from financial obligations due to businesses slowing down, but they rather keep things in place over at Alberta where my sister lives currently. She's had it very rough due to not being able to meet April payments. Ucp wants to keep things "flexible" for landlords, but is doing so little to help provide for renters who need to self isolate. 31 new reported cases showed up from just Friday to today in Alberta, which is up from 195 to 226. But because landlords make up their electoral base, they do nothing to make matters harder for them.

Yesterday evening Italy's prime minister announced new measures to slow down the spread of the virus. Now every activity which is not a necessity (supermarkets and all the food chain with them, packagings, health drugs etc.) will be closed until the situation is better. Honestly we now are waiting to see the first effects of the lock down take place so finally reaching the spike of deaths and/or contagions or at least slow down in the rise but the numbers are just becoming bigger and bigger, just yesterday we had 760+ deaths, scientists say the spike will arrive in the first half of april ...

The problems like in other places is that people doesn't want to stay in their houses all day but that is almost adjusted entirely by now. Workers are stocked in trains, metros and bus where the minimal safety space doesn't exist so this new measure..

Then our problem geographically speaking is that as of now the virus hit Bergamo and Brescia very very hard (I think you saw the images with the military vehicles) but now, not to mention that it is taking foot even in south Italy where the health care is weaker and governors are already announcing it will be a disaster if it is not stopped, the problem is that it starting to snowball in Milan and that absolutely can not happen.

Anyway had a good laugh yesterday when the news reported that Bojo advised the people that the virus is to be taken seriously, where did it go mr. Herd immunity? Anyway good for UK he at least didn't continue with that madness.

Reborn

Throughout Heaven & Earth,I alone am d Honored One
25 cases in my State and the Government ordered complete shut down of - all offices (public and private), public transport, departmental stores, vegetable shops, factories, malls and restaurants,. sealing of borders and so on for 10 days.

Only exceptions are dairy and medical shops, hospitals

I stay alone and I didn't stock any food 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Well hope that this will help check the spread of virus while it's still in nascent stage

UK will head towards worst in corona virus , call the military and lockdown the country .

What's happening in Germany guys, I heard the virus exploded.

Are the governments taking any hard measures now?
Heard it's slowing down as more and more states are going for the lockdown. I live in one of two states in Germany where the measurements are the strictest. Everything's closed bar essential things (super markets, doctors). But we are allowed to take a walk alone or with the dog and family.
