Now the conversation shifted from "rushed" to it being "anticlimactic". This is a YOU problem. Other things happened in all of those chapters. And no, only 2 chapters (1047/1048) ended with Kaido and Luffy clashing.



Again, a YOU problem. YOU guys didn't want to believe it was ending, so YOU guys came up with excuses to not believe in it ending. Then when it ended, YOU guys were disappointed and claim it's anticlimatic.


Stick to the argument bro. We are talking about rushing in an arc that is not yet over. We don't even know if or even how Oda can leave Wano in 16 more pages, if that's even happening. Maybe revisit this thought process next week, or maybe wait until you see the crew leave before you say things like "Kiku didn't react to Izou's death" even though you have no idea if she'll say something next chapter or the following or the following about it.

Can't wait to see how you defend Oda when Shanks' backstory and role gets butchered.

you can see Luffy & Zoro still bandaged up earlier in the chapter.

so its not bold to assume Zoro never visited Ryuma grave

So far he didn't for sure, but if I remember correctly Zoro said he wanted to go there. So maybe we see him standing at Ryumas grave for one panel next chapter.

I'm still praying for them to pull it off though. I don't wanna be delusional my hopes aren't high at all but i also don't want to watch this series write itself into the wall.

Hopefully they're pulling it of somehow.

After this saga and all the hopes fans had for Wano, and when I see the results, I wouldn't have too high hopes for the end of One Piece.

I prefer to see a flashback how zoro come back from hell.
I dont think meeting reaper is something common in onepiece universe.

But seriously I am still baffled that so many people expected Zoro to be the one to fight and defeat Kaido in this arc.

Since Luffy still had beef with BM Oda could have handed her over to him and Zoro took on Kaido with the scabbards, but everything ended up different as we know.

And actual backstory elaboration isn't my point with Shanks, it's his motivation, which Oda has teased several times already about him making a move. I could care less if I don't find out he's some secret heavenly dragon or the son of Rocks.

The difference is this is in relation to a larger plotline with smaller arcs, not the actual final arc like Bleach.

Kubo's plan was probably something in the 250ish chapters.

But given that he's talking about restructuring his final saga I'm hoping he finally get a grip and do something about it
Especially given the insane amount of characters already shown that he has to develop, I'm not even talking about major players like Shanks/BB/Dragon/Admirals or even Gorosei here but the likes of Weevil,all of Shanks's and BB's crewmates, the Revolutionary Commanders, whatever the SSG is, are all gonna require screentime

Oda will not change his style that EVERYTHING is about Luffy.Shanks/BB might happens off-screen because A)He dont need to waste time for that event to draw B)Fake hypetool for BB

Sabo/Ace paralell will getting speed-rushed as well.In fact,Revos are borderline present in this Manga.1000 Chapters in and Dragon did NOTHING.Not sure why @MarineHQ62 has so much hope for this guy

Well when we see how little the build-up was compared to the build-up for Luffy vs Kaido, yes it's baffling.

Literally my last hope/wish for this arc. But I guess, Oda sends luffy instead. For a final slap in the face of Zorofans. lol.

Luffy is mc after all. He is the golden boy in this series. I dont really like MC because he always got the center of attention, i just hope other character beside MC got a better story.

250 chapters is the entire Yonko arc for Oda lol.

And yes, im aware he rushed the actual ending portion. I'm just saying I don't see it with One Piece currently, especially because the actual Final War isn't next due to story structure
