Mihawk will begrudgingly, bur genuinely, want to support Buggy being the Pirate King. He won’t ever fawn over him and will likely still beat him up, but I think Buggy will impress Mihawk with his resolve (especially since he is fodder) and that’ll get Mihawk on side.

It’s like why Mihawk first became interested in fodder Zoro, it was because he would rather die than face defeat and give up on his dream. If Buggy shows resolve like that, it is totally in character for Mihawk to be impressed by it. And Buggy does seem to have had a reawakening in character of a kind when he decided to push to be Pirate King.

Mihawk didn’t have any respect for the World Gov, that’s why he never especially cared for them.

If it annoys Shanks that might just be a bonus.

Don't you think, that now because of the situation, the world sinking, that making a utopia that can last in the environmental changes that are going to take place, makes sense?. Mihawk is eventually going to have nowhere to go if this happens, and he doesn't know he's going to potentially die to zoro before this in the narrative anyway.

So therefore, creating a strong military organisation with Croc is actually better than dipping, and having nowhere to go once the sea level starts rising. What vegapunk was talking about in this latest chapter, is him saying everyone needs to find a way to survive these events, talking about a reckoning once the info of the void century comes out, and how races are being hunted down, etc, etc. and countries being eviscerated on a whim with ancient weapons.

Where is Mihawk going to go?

The solution is, cross guild will simply NOT FIGHT ANYONE… Oda wants mihawk involved but the moment 100 battleships and 2 admirals arrive to destroy Cross guild, Mihawk will abandon cross guild and just leave… so Oda will simply NEVER ALLOW 100 battleships and 2 admirals To attack cross guild

Get it? Mihawk and cross guild will never fight anyone… Because Oda doesn’t want mihawk to leave… and mihawk will leave the moment a fucking Yonko arrives to destroy cross guild… so no Yonko will arrive… so cross guild will never fight anyone

The dynamic of CG is clear narratively
Buggy is the one dragging them into the One Piece, Croco is the one with the actual plan (its his org, after all, even buggys delivery service which was the forerunner org) and mihawk is just standing there and will be roped in by Buggy shenanigans for fights

The man of many drinks doesn't need to declare he is Buggys strongest soldier for that to ensue, they are myriad other way for this to happen

The dynamic is clear Croc and mihawk are gonna do their goal which will likely be ancient weapon focused now, and Buggy will take credit doing nothing
