Literally not the same thing because what is more effective in combat? One is a massive AoE environmental manipulation, as a result of awakening, one is a concentrated projectile.
Funny how Akainu had to use Daifunka a named attack to deal with Ice block, just a fucking Ice block lol. And WB had to scream like a banshee to perform comparable feat??

Akainu and Aokiji did that shit in span of 10 days, even if MF is 1/10 the size of Punk Hazard, it would take no more than 30 seconds for Mihawk to turn Punk Hazard into dust.

I'm glad that Yamato is getting some development into what makes him who he is. I hope this leads to some interesting insight into his relationship with Oden and how that will affect Momo. I really find his whole character fascinating, and Oda introduced him even this late in the game for a good reason.

Yes if someone in real life tries to replicate that it would take a lot of energy but Aokiji is much more effective in close range then to say cover an entire Island. What is worth turning half an Island into Ice for a just one man?

Lemme put it like this, if Mihawk can deal with Aokiji's Ice in close range, what use is that covering rest of the Island?
On the other hand, say Akainu can block Mihawk's 1 megaton strike, that doesn't necessarily mean he can also block his 1 gigaton strike because Mihawk can concentrate even 1 gigaton strike all focused on Akainu.

It's still nowhere near comparable. 10 sq km compared to 6446 sq Kilometers....
if you break it down, it would only be about 155,000,000 tons per square kilometer, which would equate to 1,550,000,000 per 10 sq kilometers.
Mihawk only cut half of the Iceberg, which means completely broken down, it's 775 million tons.
