The more I look at it the more I am sure that the Raid is not the giant war greater than even Marineford war teased by Oda. It totally lacks sense of danger and epic.
This raid fails to bring excitement out of me this far with the absence of tension in the air so far, the Straw Hats being far too confident and not taking the situation seriously when they should, Big Mom being used in a terrible way again and Yamato's character and her mad cringeworthy Oden fanboyism. Makes me as hyped as the battle on Fishman Island right now.
I have now a feeling that if PH was the place where the WG scientific squad was installed and where they tried to replicate giants is because it was once inhabited by the Ancient Giants thus leaving skeletons and skulls on the island, with which the WG tried to replicate them using the DNA inside them.
Frankly making fun of Big Mom, Kaido, the admirals or any top tier for being clowned or nerfed by the plot and using it for power scaling is just absurd in a world where Nami can beat any of her crewmate despite being so much weaker than them and two of them going to be PK and WSS.
I have a very strong intuition that Franky had memorized Pluton's schematics before Water Seven and Enies Lobby arcs. He may have been willing to burn the schematics but he may have wanted to fullfill Tom's wishes of being able of creating a counter-force or sabotaging the Ancient Weapon should it be awakened and unleashed.
Frankly it should have been more difficult for Ashura Douji to be convinced to rejoin his comrades and the fight against Kaido. He rejoined them much too easely.
I am not a WOW player but I really like the Warcraft universe lore and history. Most of the expansions that arrived after Wrath of the Lich King were really disappointing in terms of story, especially Warlords of Draenor and BFA. I fear the worst about the new expansion on the Shadowlands.
Would be cool to see Jack finally snapping and responding in an appropriate manner to the abuse he has received from Kaido, King and Queen for two decades.
This cover story looks like a very cheap and convenient way to bring back Lola in the story, to reunite her with Chiffon and gives her a husband and to plant the seeds for the future reunions with Nami, her mother, her other siblings in particular Pudding and possibly the giants too.
Not counting how bad the reunion with Pound has been nor her and Chiffon's particulary horrible way of leaving Pound behind.
When you look at it Blackbeard having absorbed the Gura Gura no mi is even more interesting since it is a good foil to the Yami Yami no mi on how its power works. The Yami basically absorbs everything while the Gura "releases" energy in the most brutal way. It's like Charybdis who absorb the sea in a whirpool before violently releasing it under the form of tsunamis.
It looks more and more evident to me that Jack is basically the abused child who wants to get his abusive dad's approval and respect in the hope that it would stop his abuse and with severe self-loathing and anger issues, hence him going so far to try to get Doflamingo back from the marines and him being the only Calamity who intervenes to try to defend his captain.

Also, we shouldn't expect the same danger now as we got in MF.
Stakes are totally different. SHs grew in strength and in numbers (allies).
Also, we had been receiving tension from all aspects from the beginning so we have seen everything so even if any tense situation will come up we won't feel much.
Comparing arcs is just pointless
