I dunno disintegrating organs internally while simultaneously punching with superior external pure brute force to anything we've seen from another character in the form of KKG seems pretty lethal. If Oda let protagonists kill their enemies Luffy smashing people with such ridiculous force would...
Kaido got straight up from Oden's most "lethal" attack as if it was nothing. Oden died in chains so didn't have internal destruction.
Oden may have created an impressive wound, but Luffy's attacks are doing tremendous internal damage, which is more impressive that Kaido is tanking.
I think FS is very much personality based, the yonko including Luffy and aside from Shanks are all incredibly sloppy due to their ridiculously high power level.
Katakuri stays on constant alert because of his serious personality/former facade and only gets sloppy in merienda (hence how Luffy...
tcb did say barely standing
https://onepiecechapters.com/chapters/132/one-piece-chapter-1027-2
and that is what is in the raw, literally with basic Japanese understanding you can look up girigiri de tatteru on jisho if you don't trust me, girigiri is barely and tatsu is the verb to stand...
Luffy's base attacks had more of a reaction than asura, and the scar stopped being drawn after the chapter it debuted in.
Ocassionally being visible as something thinner than Kaido's mustache hairs.
Zoro lamented the reality that asura was nothing in front of Kaido.
Now Kaido is more serious...
Raw text isn't agenda.
Yes he can muscle through that through his immense willpower, that is the fucking point. Read WCI once and get back to me.
You invoke Zoro who muscled through having his bones broken, but don't think Luffy, his captain, with greater willpower "I've been through hell many...
Zoro's adv CoC Asura failed to bring a distracted Kaido to his knees, Luffy's base punches were more effective.
Law's punk wille looked more flashy than it was, Big Mom recovered and would have been fine without the bomb. Law was flashier than Grizzly Magnum in Punk Hazard too, doesn't mean he...
The way that is was paralleled with the Oden situation so strongly means that if you believe Oden stood a chance of beating Kaido with his final attack, then you have to give Luffy a similar possibility. It wouldn't create such a bitter feeling for Kaido otherwise.
A fresh Luffy, with both...
You say it's not enough, but that is due to Luffy's stamina being nerfed out of the gate, hence why he started with the odd phrase "my last gear fourth"
Also the last punch could have arguably defeated Kaido, if you think Oden could have beaten base 20 years ago Kaido in the same circumstance.
Giri giri de tatteru, it's canon and yes it makes sense considering the fact he was waking up from multiple knockouts and extreme fatigue to the point of being unable to move.
That said, Luffy's willpower is insane and allows him to push past states that others could not.
Luffy was barely...
You are forgetting Luffy is very stamina nerfed at the moment, barely standing according to Yamato.
In his prime state, who knows what other more taxing attacks he could do. Stamina is a big issue for G4 in exchange for it's tremendous potency.
People have their own terminology, typically adv CoA is commonly barrier and beyond.
Hardening your blade is not the same as ryuo barrier on your blade.
The term "Adv CoA" encompasses both Barrier and internal destruction as both are more advanced than basic CoA and basic hardening.
If you want to be specific and avoid confusion call internal destruction, internal destruction and you'd not confuse each other.
Luffy stretches his arms, inflates like a baloon, mizu Luffy, afro Luffy
Zoro fights with a sword in his mouth.
And people think One Piece is copying Gintama... lol.
Luffy was barely standing going into this 1vs1 and Kaido just got in a free shot of one of his ultimate non awakened attacks. No advantage to Luffy whatsoever, Kaido is too strong to be seriously effected by any of the damage from the R5,Yamato or scrubbards, just like Luffy is too strong to be...
If he got there before the scabbards got wrecked in boundman and before big mom arrived he could do the similar stunt in boundman that he did on the rooftop round 1, which did put Kaido down for a decent period
Yeah I know, it's just a bit funny when he's meant to have a >10 minute time limit and he spent all the time trying to reach the roof while the scabbards were getting wrecked the first time.
