Which is a testimony done on a few individual that doesn't really mean anything. Its like finding two or three trans saying that trans jokes are okay. You will always find people who are not oppressed by jokes. But when we look at the reality, those jokes have an impact and people who really are hurt by them don't speak to avoid being marginalized even more. In reality one strong person is not a reprensation of what people of said community really say.
One jokes doesn't hurt much.. 10 jokes is a little bit harder to tank and when thousand of people are doing the same then its problematic.
They are not laughing at the jokes, they are laughing at the person saying the jokes. In that case, its the gap between what a person think and what a person say that make people laugh.
Like I said, one joke is okay and fairly innoffensive.. Its when people make a living out of special kind of humor attacking special kind of people that its beginning to be problematic. One bad joke in between 100 good one is not problematic.
