Every series loses fans as time goes on and one piece has fans equivalent to pre-marneford hype.
Assuming sales correlate with guality is wrong so what you typed isn't the reason why OP is losing fans but rather every series loses fans and One Piece has rather done well for keeping around 2 million fans 25 years into the story.

Yes, One piece has old fans not new fans. 13 year olds in Japan today would rather read JJK, KNY and other short manga with hype rather than One piece which has almost a 100 volumes and has less hype

OP has been constantly declining since MF , you can criticize so much stuff but I feel like its inevitable for story this long to taper down ... Wano volumes as you can see has been going under the 2M
But what I'm mostly talking about is people overreaction of OP falling out of the top which's clearly due to less volumes and not sudden drop in quality

Enies Lobby was the beginning of OP peak. Fishmen Island was the peak and downfall. OP selling less and less after that and having even more hype is the proof anyone needs to know how bad the series is current day. We had G4 hype, BM Arc hype with Snakeman Hype and finally Wano Arc hype that we've waiting since Punk Hazard.

You get what you deserve! Last 20 chapters was absolute garbage! Like even WCI arc was much much better(before it come to Katakuri fight), people don't want to buy shit and read shit, eat it yourself. Millions started to drop this shit, and now even oldest funs going to threw this shit into garbage can. Case you did by yourself, killed own manga, work of your life.
Turned best potential BEST arc into Dog Shit! There was no way to ruin it, but he did ..idk maybe real Oda died long ago, but this is not manga and author that I love and want to read.

KNY selling 80mil isn't a reason to mock OP, because KNY has outsold every single manga in history even legendary ones like dragon ball and slam dunk.

KNY is 205 chapters. OP started to be good at sales at Enies Lobby around 300 chapters. Peak of Marineford 500 chapters until Fishmen Island 650 chapters. Then the downfall came.
You said "KNY would have sold less even if the series keep going" but that wasn't true for OP. So you have no argument in here.
