Let’s agree to disagree that merch doesn’t matter. What matters most if how Yamato’s VA is specially welcomed in any possible official platform. Carrot’s VA didn’t get the same treatment

Carrot is a side character even in her main focus arc, even his main Opponent is a side character.

Jinbe only joined the crew officially in Wano. That's when the official OP account declared him a straw hat. That's when Oda started including him in colour spreads. That's when the anime added him with the straw hats, etc.

Up until then he was in limbo.

Jinbe was still considered as a Sun Pirate.

Jinbe isn't part of the straw hat pirates section but the's part of the "Sun Pirates" one.


We indeed had plenty of commercial and merch of Law being featured with the entire crew.

No. Jinbe wasn't included in any kind of the SH line ups officially till the start of the raid where we got an official confirmation. Why he wasn't included anyway like Law? Because he isn't selling that great in comparison and since he wasn't confirmed either they couldn't add him just like that.

Rlly ? Its good to know that Oda give a great developing in the history of Jinbro and the next Mugiwaras, so many arcs devoloping him plus the mini history.

More reasons to think that Carrot have 0 chances and Yamato devolop is like a rocket in comparison.

When the character coins came during Fishman Island the Strawhats and Jinbe were the only gold ones while everyone was silver or bronze.

Oh they know for a fact lmao. They 100% know that people are hoping for Carrot and Yamao to join the crew. It reminds me of the NaruSaku/NaruHina wars back at the end of Naruto. Kishi was intentionally baiting the poor Sakura stans again and again, right up until literally the last chapter when all along he had zero intentions of making it happen. I hate Sakura as much as anyone else, but THAT was cruel.

Regarding the big straw hat spread it was disappointing that Carrot wasn't in it, but Oda did the exact same thing with Brook in Thriller Bark. He was right next to them, then leaves just before the spread. The more important moment was the Jinbe hug.

This was the very first time in over half a decade that the full straw hat crew was finally reunited. A really special moment. And Oda went and placed Carrot right in the very centre of the spread. He absolutely didn't have to and in the next scene where they all went to go fight fodder Carrot wasn't included even though she was still there. That proves that Oda didn't simply have to include her for the sake of it. Her inclusion in that moment is a subtle, sneaky and clever little way to introduce the idea of Carrot with the full crew without ever explicitly stating it.

I was talking about the official layout, not the color of the coins or any other debatable tinfoil territory. Jinbe wasn't officially with the SHs merch as a crew member until the raid.
