It's a color spread. And while it's suggests to think he is a crewmember and everyone knew it as well he wasn't officially included in any promotional layouts as a crewmember. What's so hard to understand?

Guys just a reminder that they add popular characters to the Straw Hats lineup in any kind of merch set (gacha/lottery goods included) since forever. Law for example has tons of it since 2012 (just SHs and Law, Law and the SHs on the promo posters), it doesn't mean he is a SH, it means he makes a lot of money for Shueisha. Always keep your expectations low not be disappointed in the end. Yamato is new, popular and had no official merch so far, so it's expected for them to add her in any line up possible

What does your reply has to do with what I said? Law had this stuff going since PH when we knew nothing about him. If you like to think a towel is a confirmation do as you like, no one is stopping you. I just warned people to not jump to conclusions.

The merchandise isn’t the important thing; if it was random, it would have been Carrot or any of the characters who’ve actually done something in recent memory. Y’all wanna spin this like it’s not a big deal, but they don’t choose OP figures and shit like this at random. I don't mind either Yamato joins or not. But I had a conversation with my sibling yesterday because she read all this yamato figure/towel stuff spreading on twitter like a plague like it's a 100% confirmation and got really happy. I had to explain some things to her because I don't want to see her ass heartbroken if it turns out a towel is just a towel and merch is never a confirmation to anything but a pure business. I see people like to fight there, I don't care about that. Keep your hopes low that's my advice to all of you. Cheers.

Literally the same, but the festa one is special because we already had that full-crew scene without Carrot, so they choose that in purpose...

But it can't be used as an argument to deny Yamato chance though, it only mean that Oda has such really bad taste of humor.

I like Yamato as a character and do want her to join you know. She's already good as confirmed and I know it. Way to make assumptions.

I just don't want her to fall under the same trap that every Strawhat has a gag that loses charm after a while (Usopp's lies, Sanji's nosebleeds, etc). But I applaud you if the Oden jokes haven't made you cringe a little. Yamato is going through some good character development, which is nice and all. But the Oden jokes, Oda just need to step it up since they just aren't funny.

What's that about "yamato not being able to read". I understood it as the Log containing many long words/kanji therefore it's hard for her to read at 8 years old.

I remember the Gold deck cards before included Jinbe as the #10 card and that's before WCI...

Yeah they did that on cover page with Jimbei with Kid oh him with number 10. There was color spread previously with straw hats having numbers on them.
