Current Events Oda poor writing to portray Kid and Law the "Victory"!! Did they really beat Big Mom? Analyze!
We know damn fucking well that Luffy knocks Kaido out in a 1-vs-1 fight. It's how every single fight with Luffy ends.
With Law/Kidd we saw how they "won", but didn't actually "beat" BM in their fight - at least not in the classic way that Luffy is about to pull off. They simply outsmarted/tricked her, which is totally fine, but a different kind of victory.

How is that "obvious" when she's literally sucking the life out of people when she's at death's door? You realize she already took some life from some randos at the end?

Law literally shut her up so she couldn't save herself and he didn't have to hear her "death" scream. This was well before they knew about the bombs. To put icing on the cake her best attack got cut like butter too. Big Mom had exhausted all her options, that was it for her and everyone including Big Mom knew it once she got shut up.
This is almost the equivalent of saying Hidan didn't lose to Shikamaru in Naruto. Because he wasn't KOd.

Big Mom already boosted her HP by taking in the souls of random fodder at the end. And she did it because she was out of HP. Only Law/Kid resisted and then stopped her from taking their crews' soul at least.

I have to disagree. Law clearly damaged Big Mom but it's speculative that he had something else to trully put her down.
Law has R Room to shut her down but at the price of shutting himself down as well because he cannot use any other room - being the reason why he didn't use it before. That basically means that Law is powerless when he uses that technique... the issue here is that Big Mom was being pushed down that hole and the bombs were waiting, if she was standing up, even without hera or Prometheus she still had her sword and even without sword if you want to put it like that also she would mop the floor with roomless law.
It's also plot that she tried to steal weak souls rather than use her own life span like before and much more effective. This fight has a whole lot of non sense

She already used up years of her life getting bigger and healing herself. There is a limit to that. And besides, she can ONLY steal weak souls. Soul Pocus has never worked on anyone Vinsmoke level or above.
Her on her death bed literally stealing souls was just a last ditch desperate attempt. I don't know if people are just being dumb on purpose or they're really having a hard time after all the Yonko wank.

Having people around vs having a specifically crafted explosive, that Big Mom didn't realise what it was until she'd already set it off.

I have long given up on the idea and hope of Big Mom and her crew having any well-written and satisifying fight without being ridiculously handicaped against the Straw Hats and their allies anyway.
It's only when Big Mom was "nice", as O-Lin and when defending Tama, and/or when fighting someone who was against the Straw Hats that she showed why she was a Yonko during Wano arc.
I have the very strong conviction that it's only after having another and permanent mind swap and when she and her crew will stop being antagonists to the Straw Hat Pirates that they will show their true potential.

What did she use? 1 year? Plus the bones we don't know how much it was but she permanently has 3 homies with her soul with unlimited stamina. I don't truly see how using her ability on herself twice already brings her to the limit. It's just plot. Not only didn't she have awakening, she also didn't even show a reasonable control level of her ability for her to be a Yonkou.
It certainly didn't look like she was on her death bed. She hasn't been kaoed like Luffy, kid and law have been and none is saying they were death bed? Thats just lame.

Big Mom's treatment is the result of three big flaws in Oda's story, first his very questionnable treatment and use of female characters especially non-Straw Hat ones since the TS, of his failure to properly hype and use the Yonkos and their crews and lastly of his failure of renewing his formula with him applying the same silly story tools and overuse of plot armor and PIS but in worse even though the story should have gotten deeper and more serious following Saobody and Marineford and the point made about Luffy and his crew not being ready yet for the New World preskip.
The combination of all these gave us the disaster we are seeing since the end of the Tea Party at Whole Cake Island.

Kid's fruit is like Cracker's fruit in that it uses very little stamina to stall because he can create and rebuild constructs, Luffy has to dodge or tank the blows with his body, Law can teleport while Kid has agro on him. Comparing rates of stamina exertion from Luffy fighting Kaido 1vs1 to these two taking pot shots against her in a controlled situation with great fruits for co-op play is a bit unfair to begin with.
Kid and Law were not fighting against Big Mom for the the 20-30 minutes (several 10s of minutes according to the Japanese Raw) that Luffy vs Kaido post 1010 occurred during. During this time Luffy's stamina consumption was so great that he was knocked out for a second time due to fatigue from a 30 minute 1vs1 of "sloppy" CoC usage (Zoro's sloppy usage burnt through his life force in a few minutes), he was so fatigued upon waking he couldn't physically move, like he was against Lucci or worse, he ate enough to move and fight, not to restore him to 100% or anywhere near that, Yamato in the Japanese raw makes this clear that Luffy is barely standing, coming back here in this state to heroically defeat Kaido.
