I've always considered that Primebeard> Kaido, but well it's pretty hard to scale these characters.

It is alright. He unlocked CoA just recently, in act 1.

Prior to this, he has never shown any CoA. So it normal for someone who just unlocked CoA, that his CoA is still weak.

Btw after looking at its shape. The power and its shape not describe each other. I mean if we see ace df fruit, its shape look like fire.
Maybe the heart shape means give life or something like that.

Probably, since heart usually represents life/life force.
