Zoros role is that of a swordsman. You know what Luffy said immediately after this quote:
“I can’t Use a sword, I can’t Cook food, I can’t even lie.”
“Then what can you do”
“I can beat you”

Meaning despite what everyone else can do. The one thing Luffy can do that the others can’t is beat the enemies.

Nope, swordsman is not a role it is a way to do that role which is combatant.

Luffy's role is to lead not to beat. And even at leading Zoro has to teach him how to properly do it.

I would likw to see Zoro vs Kaido or in general the whole alliance against Kaido for a bit it's just that they are either half dead or simply far too weak to make a difference.
But I'm not ruling it out. I bank more on Luffy reawaken, cause of the emphasis Oda put onto that unconscious CoC usage and that "it feels like he's still staring at me" thingy.

But I honestly would like it if we don't get further spoilers, cause if the info is really that ground breaking I would finally experience something great first hand w/o spoilers after years of being too weak to resist looking at spoilers lol
