I guess i don't like seeing the villains, that we already feel no threat / fear at all because of the plot armor of every character, turn into literal jokes in the middle of fight that's suposed to be Luffy's hardest fight yet

Don't get me wrong though, I can understand where some people are coming from. I can see a potential concern where Luffy coasts on easy street for the rest of the series.
But I can't help but find it hilarious at the reaction to cartoon shenanigans and the fact that Oda is actually doing it in the first place. We're in a very unique part of the story that no one really expected.

We're already seeing signs of the potential drawback of G5 and we're still gonna get the "time bomb" moment with Onigashima falling so let's not act like Kaido is defeated already.

Did Oda make Lucci also turn into a child after Gear 3? no
DId Oda make Kuma turn into a Blue Hulk with Shadows? no
Did Oda make the Admirals and Sengoku send Death Winks? no
Oda makes gag / goofy characters do goofy shit, and serious characters still be serious
the contrast between these characters when they fight has always been funny
but Luffy now turning even serious characters into goofy enemies? sounds shit to me
