And while Dragon is about abolishing or reforming the WG, I doubt having business with Imu himself would be within his scope. I also doubt he will fight a Gorosei. The Gorosei aren't really top class fighters. While Akainu is someone who basically protects the Tenryuubito and strictly and blindly follows orderss. So by fighting Akainu, Dragon would fight the Celestials strongest shield. While Luffy himself would take care of Imu. That is, if Imu is a fighter.

It also makes very little sense for Redon to tease something on Twitter if it's just another random Orochi scene lmao, we already see him on fire on Page 15, and its a direct continuation from last chapter.

They aren't guardians of Imu. They are mainly political figures. Imu is unknown to almost everyone in the world. And how would the Gorosei guard Imu anyways? They are in the holy land already, the admirals can easily be dispatched, and the admirals are the WG's strongest force. Not like anyone could just walk in unnoticed, unless you are Shanks. As soon as a strong pirate would come even remotely close to Marijoa, the admirals would be called.

I honestly don't see what value Akainu can add as a future opponent to Luffy. Kaido turned into a humongous magma-like fire dragon covering the entire sky in an island-wide, dense fire-carpet able to melt everything away. And that is just the cream topping of Kaido's ability, who has it all; being an Oni with a Dragon Fruit which gives him humongous durability, endurance and recovery, along with high physical strength. On top of that his Hakis near maxed out; FS, barrier Haki, high level CoC coating and extremely devastating blows with his club.

What is the point of having Akainu as a villain after Kaido?

The guys are the leaders of WG, so they command everything, Goroseis are the main boss with Imu, why are they weaker than Admiral? Who Law and Kidd will fight in Final war? Even BB can fight one.

For me looks like they are Guardians of the Throne and Imu too, since they are his subordinates.

Then by virtue, Luffy shouldn't fight Blackbeard or Shanks, because they are also Yonko.

We have no idea what the extent of Akainu's power is. Nor the other Admirals. Nor the other Yonko. Nor any potential foe for the remainder of the series.

It's fine to wank Kaido right now, but the fact remains that he isn't the last enemy in the series. He probably isn't even 2nd or 3rd to last, as we clearly have more arcs to go before the Final War.
