Powers & Abilities Roger could not turn his Supreme Grade Sword into a Black Blade even Though he Loved his sword .......

If black blades are so great then why are the two strongest One Piece characters who have blades not using it?
Kokuto increases a weapon's resilience not it's cutting power.
It basically just prevents your blade from breaking which is a handy skill but doesn't necessarily impove it's AP.

Nothing dictates that Roger and Whitebeard were necessarily stronger swordsmen than Ryuma for instance, who was defined as the World's Strongest in the manga and likely was on his era. Plus Whitebeard's power was also intrinsically related to his devil fruit anyway. About Roger, that's the Big question, and surprisingly, it might indeed be that Mihawk's haki is superior... or at least a characteristic intrnsically related to what it necessitates to attain a black blade.

Black blade is a subset skill not advanced armament last I checked. It's just used to improve your blades toughness which again doesn't have anything to do with improving attack power. It basically permanent Buso hardening.

But it looks like the answer to OP's question is in Mihawks Words.

Since a Supreme Blade is the highest Quality of Blade, and hardening a blade essentially makes it a "Black Bade" while haki is being applied to it, there is no reason to turn a Supreme Grade blade black permanently, because it's rank won't raise. You're achieving the same thing just by hardening the blade.

It has to be activated in some way. It's up to Oda's creativity. Most speculate it might be haki or a subset of haki. Very debatable but I would not be surprised if that was revealed as the case in essence.

what I know is that oda didn't put only 2 users of black blades and from different ages for nothing... the rarity of the thing is very big.

And Ryuuma didn't want to be the strongest swordsman like the guy said, he fought countless enemys to protect wano (government, pirates and all kinds of entities that wanted Wano's gold, Ryuuma defeated them all, nothing to do with being the best swordsman of the world)

Ryuuma defeated everything and everyone who tried to invade Wano until he became the Sword God.

Let's take Shanks Griffin for example. It's so durable that it can even withstand Magma fist without using CoA. And when you have advance CoA , making it permanent black is not necessary.
And it look like each supreme grade sword has its own buff
Griffin - Durable
Ace - Power boost
Yoru : enhanced slash ?
Shusui : CoA boost ?

In my opinion Zoro never managed to use shusui at its highest potential in pre time skip . Due to his lack of CoA experties.
That's why Mihawak , started his training with CoA.
Unfortunately in Wano he replaced it with Enma , which going to be black blade.
I guess it's good take by Oda.

Zoro mastered coating his swords yes. Mihawks yoru isn't black because he's constantly coating it.
Mihawk literally says Zoro can't drink until Zoro masters turning his blade black, like his..... The ONLY thing that can be inferred here is that Hardening a blade is the same thing as turning it black. The only difference is Mihawk did it permanently. But coating a Sword with Armament Haki is basically the same thing.

No he didnt. Stop fucking lying. Zoro is drinking as you say yourself. Did zoro make his swords into perma kokutos ? No he didnt.
Yes of course genius out of the billions of weapons users throughout time that have been able to coat their weapons only 2 made kokutos despite it just being the same thing as normal hardening.
Oden who coated his sword for over 2 decades couldn't make his swords perma black because ?
